NO RESERVE!!!!You are Bidding on a 1930 Model A that is in perfect running condition!This Model A was built to Run!! She has already driven across the country and even been to the top of Pikes Peek. There have been modifications made to make her more reliable but maintain a somewhat stock appearance. This Model A has the Original License Plates that came with this car and has a perfect body with all original 1930 steel no fiberglass and no patch panels!!! The car was first restored in the early 80's to original Stock Model A trim with Lacquer paint and saw a few parades. It was garaged for many years and then went thru a second transformation to make her ready for the open road with New engine , transmission , Hydraulic Brakes etc and put 5000 miles driving all around the US. Now we are ready to allow someone else to enjoy her! If you are looking a Model a to enjoy daily and not work on daily then this is for you.Everything is broken in and there are no issues at all with this wonderful Model A. The car could be left how it is to enjoy , we thought about a drop axle , reverse eye springs and a 283 Chevy V8 (this would bolt right in place of current engine), but that will be up to you. So fly in and Driver her home anywhere!!!!!! Here is the list of Upgrades Engine :181 c.i.d Mercruiser Chevy 140Hp 4cyl . Custom built from a new block and built for Street Use. She runs cold all year around at 150 degrees with electric fan on and 210 without. Plenty of Power a huge upgrade over the factory 40hp but still gets 20mpg. This engine has the same bell housing as a SBC as well as the same motor mount locations, So swapping out a SBC would be an almost 1 day job! 6spd! Gear Box and Overdrive : 1936 Ford Fully Synchronized Transmission Custom Built with Offenhauser SBC Trans adapter . The Mitchell Overdrive 1000 unit allows you to cruise on the freeway at 70mph all day at 2400rpm and it is Synchromesh'd so you can shift it at any speed in any gear giving you 6 forward speeds. Suspension and Chassis:Fully rebuilt chassis with all new pins bearings seals etc. New shocks at every corner keeping it smooth down the road. 1941 Ford hydraulic brake system to make sure you can stop when you want! Retains the original fuel tank in the body but also has an added rear fuel tank for an extra 10 gal of fuel. The wheels are 1935 Ford 16" Wires with Dunlop Radials. Exterior:The Paint still shows very well but there is signs of use with small rock chips in the paint from its long journeys but from 2 feet back it looks prefect and for the most part un-noticed. The Cowl lights have been converted to turn indicators. Included is a Custom built leather trunk w/belts and tuck away mount. There is also a front mount Tool box included but not currently installed. The top is in perfect condition. Interior:The Interior is blessed with A/C , and yes it blows COLD!!! so if you live in warm climate like we do in California it helps a lot. The seat was moved back for more modern sized drivers my father that is 5'5" drives it with no problems and my friend who is 6'3" and 400lbs drives it just fine as well! There have been extra gauges added for Oil Pressure and Water Temp. The entire interior is in overall great condition. Extras:Included is a Custom made Car Cover , to keep it looking good for many more years. Various extra parts like light bulbs , Cap and rotor , engine belts etc. Basic Tool kit and jack.
