1951 Chevy Shop Truck Nice little shop truck, runs and drives as it should and is very dependable. Suspension is solid, no play in kingpins, rides surprisingly solid for its age.Upgraded 235 motor runs well with good compression on all cylinders. Mallory electronic ignition.Clifford aluminum intake set up with four barrel Holley carb and 12 volt. Fenton headers with dual exhaust running our the driver and passenger side with cherry bomb mufflers. Older walker radiator that keeps motor cool at 170-180 degrees. 4 speed transmission on the floor with 1st gear low compound granny. Closed driveline with stock gears. Truck does avg of 55mph on highway. Body is in good condition for its age. Floors are solid with only minor surface. Cab corners have had some bondo work in the past, see pics. Solid wood bed floor good for hauling. Interior is all stock, comfortable seat and all gauges work except speedo needle that needs replaced. Summit tach installed on steering column that shows oil pressure, temp, gas and at night it illuminates red. Also has a Stewart Warner mechanical temp gauge under dash. All glass is fine except passenger glass has crack in it. Older paint job from years ago that is faded here and there and shows surface rust on some spots. Truck is used as a truck so did not want nice paint to worry about. Wheels are stock 16" rims with Coker whitewalls that show its age but still drive fine.
