You are bidding on a 1972 Nova which started life as a base, six cylinder car. The previous owner installed a rebuilt 350 V8 along with a three speed automatic transmission. The engine has a four-barrel carburetor and headers which connect to a dual exhaust system. The car has manual steering and manual drum brakes. It's a fun weekend cruiser and runs and drives well. The tires are in like-new condition and the brake master cylinder was recently replaced. I installed retractable three-point seat belts in the front from Morris Classic Concepts. I kept the original belts which will come with the car. The paint appears to be original. It is fairly thin, with numerous scratches, dings, and a few minor dents. The body appears to be rust-free. As with any unrestored 44 year old car there are a few issues: There is a small transmission fluid leak, the weather stripping needs replacement, and the front seat has several rips. I bought this car in 2006 from the second owner. This is an original California car and during my ownership it has always been garaged. The odometer reads 34637, but I'm certain it has exceeded its mechanical limits an has at least 134,000 miles.
