It has a reasonable amount of tread remaining (see photo). YesWhat was damaged in the 2012 accident? Nothing except the driver’s side mirror. The car was parked in front of my house and someone just grazed it enough to knock it off, but not damage anything but the mounting bracketSince the car is from Island Park, what happened to it during Sandy? The car didn't see a drop of Sandy water, as it was Center Island at the time. Here are the known issues with the car: Note that below it mentions the check engine light. This ad was composed several months ago, but the light hasn’t come on since the replacement of the timing belt and water pump. I still wanted to make the Buyer aware of its history. AC not working, however, it has a new AC Behr compressor (2013) I am told it needs a clutch for the compressor.Center Console - hinge is brokenMulti CD Changer not working – last I used the CD, the player worked fine, the changer doesn’tFront grille has a crack – I snap it in, and after a while it pops out.Has a silver driver’s side mirror replacement. I still have original if ya’ wanna’ swap mounting bracketsCheck-Engine light is on - I pulled the code. P0420 is an O2 sensor, but doesn’t specify. I’m guessing you can do a little more digging for info, but I bet this info is fairly accurate, as I pulled it from the “New Beetle” forum.Missing 2 “hub” caps – the little center things…Small water leak somewhere – the rear floor mat, on the passenger side gets wet. I use the car so little (less than 100 miles per month) I hadn’t noticed this the last time I advertised the vehicle. What’s odd is that the interior roof is bone dry (I went out in the car the last 2 rainfalls). (I’ve since learned there are internal drains in the sunroof assembly, that are clogged with leaves and such. Apparently, if I slide the sunroof back the “drains are accessible and effortless to clean.) 1 Plastic AC/Heater Duct doesn’t adjust wellDriver’s side power lock is Bi-polar; it works when it feels like it.
