1968 Honda CD 175 K1 “Sloper”. Vin# CD175 – 1021339. Motor# CD175E – 1021326. This bike has undergone a complete and total professional restoration. The bike was stripped to the bare frame and completely rebuilt. As much as possible is new old stock (NOS) Honda parts or re-chromed, powder coated or rebuilt original Honda parts. Very little aftermarket parts were used. Frame, gas tank, fenders, forks, side covers, swing arm and chain guard were professionally stripped and repainted by a local restoration shop. Motor was removed, disassembled, cleaned, polished and totally rebuilt by Hap’s Honda in Sarasota, Fl. Gas tank has been stripped, boiled, sealed, repainted, chrome sides were re-chromed, has NOS emblems and NOS knee guards. NOS Honda rims with new spokes, fresh powder coated centers, new tubes and the correct Goodyear 16” tires with the correct tread from Coker Tire. Rims have been professionally trued and balanced. Side cover emblems are new manufactured as exact reproductions specifically for this bike. Center stand and side stand are both fresh powder coated and have new rubbers. All decals are correct. New 6V battery with built-in Battery Tender. Seat frame has been powder coated with new foam, new seat cover with correct chrome trim. New mirrors, new signal lights, new taillight. Everything works correctly including the horn, all the switches, the electric start and even the signal lights (no small job on a 6V system). Original tools are in the original tool roll. Also have the original owner’s manual and receipts and documentation. Multiple award winner including first place at the VJMC (Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club) winter show. The bike has about 200 miles on it since it’s been completed. Can be shown or driven anywhere. Needs nothing. This is a very unusual and collectable Honda. Drive it anywhere or show it.
