1971 FORD MUSTANG MACH 1 SPORTSROOF FRESH 351 CLEVELAND V8 C6 AUTO TRANSMISSION. Great rolling chassis for restoration. Western car with very manageable rust. Mostly complete. Straight body with good side and rear glass. Engine had been removed and engine compartment was sand-blasted and painted. Engine was gone though and re-installed. I don't have details on the engine build, but we pulled the valve covers and oil pan and everything is clean and new inside. Engine fitted with long tube headers. C6 auto transmission is stock. Brakes actually work well. Front disc, rear drum. The only rusty parts are the floor pans on both sides, although the passenger side is not bad, and the rear quarter panels just behind the tires. The trunk corners, floor, and engine compartment including the shock towers are all rust free and solid. I have the front seats. They are white vinyl and in OK condition. No rear seat. The car is missing the rear driveshaft, exhaust system, radiator, engine fan, hood hinges, and a few other exterior parts that don't show in the pictures. The interior needs full restoration.
