The superb 300 Horsepower 4.2 V8 mated to a 6 speed ZF transmission features here which gives more power and better MPG than the previous 4.0 cars. (27.2 MPG is what I received in a similar car over 800 miles. Not too shabby for a 4.2L V8!). The 4.2 Liter XK8 is the one to own. An absolute pleasure.
