Vehicle Detail

51,850 ORIGINAL miles. Well Documented car. See Pics A very special and unique corvette. Numbers Matching. *** Rust free. ***Never Hit. *** Uniquely Optioned. Factory Options Include: AC, PS, 4 Speed, Auto Ventilation, Convertible, Fin inserts, etc. Codes & details are available, just ask. Late year (mid December) 1969 Production with unique original build. One of the last 220 1969 Corvettes Built NO hit car. Always garaged. NO rust frame! While this vehicle consists of 99% original parts, the car has new brake service (calipers & pads, year correct), new bushings, ball joints, rubbers, and suspension maintenance replacements of all components (receipts available), $3,000 side pipes & covers installation (no burns on the legs!) all vacuum hoses replaced where worn, headlight actuator & boots for correct functioning headlights, newer AC compressor and a new gas tank. Quadrajet Carb rebuilt to spec with correct OEM Quadrajet parts. Complete out of vehicle original HD radiator re-cored with all original tags, labels and original radiator housing in tact; inside of radiator is new brass/copper to spec. Outside of radiator is original and refurbished. Runs cool at OEM temp as it is supposed to; with and without the AC running in upper 90 degree days! NEW BFGoodrich T/A's and complete 4 wheel alignment. October 2015 $1,350- Lots of detail items have been replaced; such as all weather stripping, AC vent louvers, round vents, cigarette lighter and mount, visors, seat bumper stops, AC/Heater blower switch, etc. Any little part that didn't work as it should has been replaced and all options function as intended when new. All parts used are NOS or Eckler's high-end parts. All original parts (non-consumables) have been retained, bagged & labeled. Overall about $6500 in parts alone spent in bringing maintenance and items up to full working condition. You will be hard pressed to find another original vette with these options and low miles, no hit and no rust, fully functional at this price. The car really is a remarkable time-capsule find and very unique. This car rides tight as new, fully functioning and original working condition without a restoration; merely a freshening or replacement of any worn consumable parts. An original with low miles and high potential for a NCRS top tier car if owner desired. Otherwise a fabulous driver or local show car that can be driven regularly and enjoyed. A truly excellent well preserved documented original mileage corvette with highly desired options. Complete upgraded suspension completed October 2015. All new ball joints, shocks, springs, sway bars, steering linkage, bushings & rubbers, etc. All original components that are not "consumables" are bagged and tagged. F41/Stage IV suspension. Gymkhana. Headlights and wiper door/wipers work flawlessly as they should. Car also comes with an extra LT1 '70 Hood that original owner had purchased plus the 427 hood as shown in pictures. Based upon documentation, it appears in early 70's, the original owner liked the newer models better and had this hood added. Additionally, you'll note that the '69 car here has the '70 fender flares to stop debris/flash from behind tires. This is extremely unique and after an inspection by Corvette Restoration shop and NCRS judge, it's assumed these were added with the '70 LT hood, however the restoration shop owner stated it was amazing as there are virtually no seams or evidence of work where the '70 fender flares were added. This is one of the last 200 cars made in late 1969. I'm not sure if the original owner had these added, or what the story is...? As a late Dec '69 build, this car has some '70 parts on it from the factory that we've discovered. Very interesting and unique. . Car also has preserved matching painted Hardtop as well as the canvas convertible top. Canvas Convertible top could be replaced...clouding in rear plastic window. Passenger side mirror added (see pics) and went ahead and replaced visors at the same time - September 2015 (Original visors & hardware bagged & tagged) This was one of the last 200 Corvettes produced in 1969 and has some very unique provenance with the car. Lots of documentation with this car including: - Original manual & chevrolet plastic jacket - a reprint manual & jacket (so you don't have to use the original one) - the original buyers Protect-O-Plate and folder in tact - original title from car - multiple appraisals over the years - receipts & docs from 2 prior owners - receipts for all work performed (older and all the latest work in 2015) - most all the original parts have been retained, bagged and tagged. Likely a couple thousand dollars in OEM parts here alone. - Assortment of '69 corvette books & manuals, Original Assembly Instruction Manual, Shop Manuals, etc. Appears to be original Saddle interior, with perhaps a carpet upgrade/replacement. All in very good to excellent condition. Everything works. Gauges, Tach & Speedometer and even the clock works. Complete tune-up and basic maintenance performed, such as: plugs, wires, distributor, thermostat, temp sending unit, carb rebuild. Idols, accelerates, runs and stops as it should. Strong clutch and easy shifting. Car was originally Riverside Gold and was painted some time ago in Burgundy. Paint is well maintained with very minimal light spider cracking. Canvas Top (white) as shown has rear window discoloration. I would plan to replace the soft-top for this reason, but not an immediate necessity. Hard top window is solid and clear, works great, see pics for details of both. Hard top changes the look of the car. Three distinctive looks, top down, soft top and hardtop. A very unique, documented and well optioned, original low mileage 69 Convertible 4 speed Corvette (with AC & PS!) that is a very solid and preserved vehicle. Great driver or certain potential for high-end restoration vehicle with solid bones and lots of original equipment. Inspection of vehicle is available with appointment. Please email/message to arrange or to ask any questions. Glad to provide answers on any questions that I can. This is a unique opportunity on an largely original, yet very unique, '69 Convertible Corvette with documented original miles through the history of the vehicle ownership.
