1958 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz. Vehicle was previously being restored, and is approximately 75% through the process, 95% of parts are on hand to complete the car. The restoration was an amateur attempt and can be completed as is, or to get the full value out of this car, it could be taken back apart and a nut and bolt factory restoration performed. Motor IS NUMBERS MATCHING and has been freshly rebuilt, zero miles on motor, it turns over freely with a wrench. (car is short fuel system of running) Trans has supposedly been rebuilt, along with brake master cylinder and power steering pump. There were signs of rust in floor pans and trunk pan that have been repaired, repair job was not perfect and cleaning up of patches would be needed unless driver quality is preferred. The car has been painted, and does show some signs of bondo here and there. Paint job was amateur as well, and it does have minor scratches here and there. Paint has not been wet sanded or buffed. Body is some what straight and seems to be a decent start to a project, panel gaps and bumper gaps have not been aligned and some components are temporarily hung in place and are not permanently mounted. I do have the top assembly (minus canvas) with a header bow that is in good shape. Top pump, cylinders, new lines, and top switch are still in car. All wiring seems to be present, but not sure of working condition. This was an original AC car. Air ride suspension is no longer present and has been replaced with coils, assuming during the factory recalls. Chrome on car is in varying condition, some parts are in good shape while other is poor. Rear lower bumpers are not in great shape but with some work could be rechromed, rear upper bumpers are decent. Most trim is in nice shape. Driver stainless quarter is nice, passenger is a little rough but could possibly be worked, not sure. One reverse light lens has a crack, but both grills are present. Of course, power steering, power brakes, power top, power windows, and all other standard eldo options are present. This is exactly how I purchased the vehicle and I do not know much about the history of this vehicle or the restoration of this vehicle, I do know it has been in climate controlled storage for the past 25 years during its restoration, and has been in far northern Louisiana most, if not all of its life. And as we all know this is one of 815 ever produced and could easily be worth triple digits restored. I do have a clean clear Louisiana title in my name, in my hand. YOU CAN REACH ME DIRECTLY AT: 972 571 5822 Parts on hand: Top assembly w good header, Original 3x2 intake with carbs and linkage, both door panels including Biarritz chrome inserts, kick panels with trim and vents, rear seat speaker grill, front fender and side door trim, hood trim, windshield (has small rock chip, but it hasn’t spread so could be filled), chrome “shark gills” that go on bottom of rear quarter, chrome strips that are vertically mounted in-between rear bumpers, windshield gasket, rear view mirror and both visors, complete windshield trim inside and out, glove box door, brand new glove box insert, both Biarritz emblems, autronic eye, drive shaft, horn ring, window switches, seat trim, seat side chrome with lights, interior by Fleetwood tag, side glass (front and rear) both front are cracked, but it is flat glass so it’s easy to have made) all window perimeter trim, brand new window felts, brand new door jamb seals, brand new trunk weather stripping, brand new under hood insulation. Lots of other misc. trim, parts, and brackets that I am not totally sure where it goes, some duplicate and triplicate parts as well. Parts missing: Fuel tank, bat wing air cleaner, parade boot, spare, jack, wipers, body trim tag, ac compressor, seat belts, some dash knobs, some top latch parts, Eldorado script and “V” on deck lid, and I’m sure other misc. items I’m not aware of yet. This vehicle is advertised locally as well and I have the right to end the sale/auction at any time for any reason.
