There has been body work and a repaint performed on the lower quarters of the vehicle, but to a good quality. There are some light scratches in the paint that, unfortunately, occurred during transit to the U.S. There are no signs of rust anywhere on the body. The doors open and shut very well and all windows operate as expected. The door locks were changed to a different key set (due to theft prevention in Nicaragua) and the emblems are riveted to the body (also a theft prevention procedure in Nicaragua). INTERIOR: The interior of this BJ70 is very clean. The seats have been reupholstered to a very good quality. The rear jump seats are completely original. The door panels were also reupholstered with a few imperfections in their workmanship including some pulled threads and the way they were attached to the doors (using external plastic fasteners). The vinyl floors are in very nice shape as well as the headliner. The dash is also very clean and the aftermarket CD player works well. This BJ70 is very "bare boned" therefore it only has A/C with no heat option, although there is a heating system available from other vendors. CHASSIS: The Chassis on this BJ70 looks as if it just rolled off the showroom floor. It is remarkably clean with not a speck of rust to be seen. See the photos for visual proof. ENGINE|TRANSMISSION |4WD: The 3BII engine runs very strong and starts up immediately after a 5-8 second glow cycle (depending on temperature of course). The 4 speed transmission shifts flawlessly into all gears including reverse. The 4WD system operates like new, with easy shifting from 2WD to both "Hi" and "Lo" 4WD.
