After building a relationship with one of Japan's largest vehicle exporters, I became an importer of rare and unique 4x4's. I specialize in Toyota Land Cruisers and other Toyota 4x4's. I legally imported this rare Hilux Surf earlier this year. It is 100% legal to own and drive in all 50 states. Outside of the US, the Hilux and Hilux Surf are legendary vehicles well-known for offroad capability and unmatched reliability and durability. Now that these vehicles are past the 25-year-old limit, we can enjoy them here in the states. eBay requires a 17-digit VIN in the listing, the actual VIN for this Hilux Surf is LN610019484. It was produced for the Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) and does not have a 17-digit VIN. The original VIN plate reading LN610019484 is still fixed in the factory location on the engine firewall. Additionally, this factory VIN is stamped into the frame rail behind the drivers side front tire. The Missouri title and customs documentation all match this VIN. 100% Legal, Fully Documented, Missouri Title First, this is a 100% legal and documented import vehicle. I have copies of all the customs, EPA, DOT and import paperwork that will go with the vehicle to the new owner. This Hilux Surf has been titled in Missouri, and can be legally titled and driven in all 50 states (including California!). In the few places where diesel emissions testing is required, this vehicle will pass local inspection, guaranteed. Only 101,037 miles (162,669 KM's). The original chrome wheels and Hilux graphics give this truck a great JDM style. Everything on this truck works. It is in 100% roady ready condition. The tires are winter tires in good condition. This truck has some cool and rare factory options including power windows and power locks. The interior is in excellent condition. There is some wear on the center console lid, but the rest of the interior looks "like new" (common with Japanese vehicles). The power windows and locks are a nice convenience. The headliner is clean. The dash and instruments are in excellent condition. The carpet is clean. The factory AC has been serviced and blows ice cold. The body on this Hilux Surf is better than 95% of the trucks I see, and has all-original paint. There is a small spot of rust on the exterior of the hardtop. Otherwise, there is no rust in the rest of the truck. The floors, rear quarters, wheel wells and fenders are clean. Most drivetrain components are still available from Toyota and can be ordered from any dealership as long as you have the part number. Electronics, trim and interior are harder to find, but there are healthy used parts markets in Canada and Australia where these vehicles have been available for many years.
