DES PLAINES HONDA MOTORCYCLES. You are bidding on a 2001 BMW K1200LT that starts and runs good, has a clear title and only 53816 miles. This bike features a 1200cc 4 cylinder motor with a 5-speed transmission that starts and runs good. The bike features ABS brakes, heated grips, cruise control, power adjustable windscreen, reverse mode, center stand, AM/FM cassette with rider and passenger volume controls, front/rear power ports, adjustable preload and integrated locking saddlebags and trunk. Owner manual is also included. The condition of the body is good with a few minor flaws and scratches here and there that is typical of a bike this age. There is a larger scratch on the rear trunk (see pic). The bike also has some scuffs on the plastic engine guards and also on the lower plastic trim of the saddlebags (see pics). The bike will probably need fresh fluids and also the throttle sticks a little (could be the cable or the grip might just be worn). The tires are in fair shape but will need to replaced soon. The sound system works but the displays plastic is fogged up and a little hard to see in the daytime (see pic). This is a great bike for someone looking for an inexpensive sport tourer.
