Vehicle Detail

This is a 1950 Triumph 6T Thunderbird that runs awesome and needs nothing. Engine, Frame, and Trans are all original and matching! I have CA title in my name. I got this bike as a pile of parts basically(see the photos). I took everything apart and replaced every bearing, bushing, seal, etc. in every single component from the rear wheel to the front. I'm not exaggerating at all... So to annoy you with the specifics, Engine crank bearings, cam bushings, rod bearings, cylinders bored and honed, all new fork bushings, wheel bearings, transmission was gone through and all bushings/ bearings replaced. Head has new valves and valve guides... The basic theme is I replaced every wear-part that is replaceable. I have a video of this bike starting cold on the first kick and I hadn't ridden it in a month or so... It's not a weird sales tactic, come and see for yourself that it fires right up. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bvymkiCvQAE It runs and functions as it should. I re-chromed the forks, headlight bucket, wheels, oil tank, clutch pressure plate, steering dampener, rear hub and brake drum. It has a Lowbrow customs wassell tank so it's thinker gauge and less prone to leaking at a seam. The steering dampener is all there and functions. It has a waterproof BT-H Magneto that is a bit more rare than a Lucas mag. I rebuilt the generator with a NOS armature and new brushes. I tested the Field coil on my meter and it reads the perfect amount of Ohms. I am running open primary so I can clear an o-ring chain there. Because of that, I never have to adjust the trans. The chain stays lubed and zero stretch. The Amal throttle is a rare vintage piece. I also have a new Amal 930 carb so there's no worry of slop in the slide making the bike run like garbage. Wheel combo is 19" rear/21" front. I have motored this on the highway at 85mph or so. I weigh 235 pounds. Bike is nimble and super reliable. I would not hesitate to ride this anywhere. It does not burn oil. I'm never having to top the oil bag off... This bike was also used by the "motorcycle gang" in the 2014 movie 'Inherent Vice' with Joaquin Phoenix. Proof is also in the photos. Please ask questions... I have no doubt this bike will sell for less than it's worth... I have a garage filled with vintage Harleys so this one is going to go... Also, the black plate on it is not included. It's not registered to the bike. I can take to a local shipping hub, but that's on you to deal with...
