East Coast Classics is pleased to offer this solid 1978 Porsche 911SC Targa. White over black interior. Vehicle is a solid driver. Had a paint job (poor one in my opinion) done some time ago. Could drive it as-is, or restore to show quality. Either way you decide to go, you are getting a great deal on this car. It's a very easy project as there is minimal rust. Runs and drives excellent! Engine does not make any noises, or smoke. Pulls through all the gears as it should. Has an oil leak. May benefit from a reseal, but I am not making the assumption on what's required to fix it. This car is being offered at a great deal, for someone to get in to an air-cooled Porsche for a reasonable amount. Interior looks as if it was red and someone panted it black. For a driver it's fine, just put some seat covers, and a dash cover as it is cracked. As stated before, this is your opportunity to get into an air-cooled Porsche, without the air-cooled price. Very desirable, low option (crank windows) car, and it's a '78, so it has the bigger intake ports. Clean & Clear Title. Shipping is the buyers responsibility, however we will assist with arrangements to have the car picked up and on it's way to it's new owner. Car is being sold as-is. PPI's are welcomed, but must be conducted prior to winning the bid. Once the auction is over, and reserve has been met, the high bidder owns the car. NO EXCEPTIONS. Buyer must pay a $195 dealer fee. This fee applies to everyone - individual, corporation, or dealer. Vehicle will not be released until funds have cleared our account. Acceptable forms of payment are Wire Transfer, Cashier's Check, Cash in Hand. If buyer pays with a cashiers check, vehicle will not be released until one week (7 Calendar days) has passed since the clearing of the funds (sounds ridiculous, but scammers are very good these days). NO EXCEPTIONS - Best way to avoid the 7 day wait, is to send a Wire Transfer. A non-refundable, $500 deposit, via Paypal, is due IMMEDIATELY following the end of the auction, or IMMEDIATELY after a negotiated sale price is accepted by both buyer and seller.
