Hard to find 1986 Subaru Brat in great condition! It was being restored when we got it and just haven't had the time to do anything with it. It is almost ready to be painted, and I will be including in the sale, a can of the paint color that the car currently is in pic. I also have all the trim and badges. It was removed so it could be painted. Comes with a Haynes Manual. Sale also includes a brand new rear fender to replace the side that has started some minor rust. The body is in great condition, as is the interior, especially for this being a 1986. Just normal wear and tear. The odometer reads 155315 miles, but the engine was replaced by the previous owner and has around 14000 miles on it. Just some of the recent work done on it includes:-new intake manifold-new spark plugs and wires-new cap and rotor-new wires-new oil filter and oil change-new starter (lifetime warranty)-cleaned vacuum lines Sale will include along with the car:-can of paint in current color shown in pics-new fender-trim and badges all around-camper shell ONLY if requested due to it being located in Idaho (camper shell needs some parts, back window, weather stripping, etc) Tire tread is good, just sun checked a little. Car will also need a new battery as it will run fine after it's been jumped, but it wont hold a charge anymore. Clutch is great, transmission is great, 4 wheel drive works, low and high range. Vehicle runs great most of the time. Then other times here and there it will randomly start to chug like its getting to much fuel. Carb may need some adjusting to fine tune, I don't have the tools to adjust a Subaru carburetor. The gas gauge is off some. Has A/C, just needs a belt and to be charged.
