Up for auction is my unrestored / unmolested extremely rare 1971 Camaro RS/SS LS3. This is the 396 big block car with the factory LS3 option, which was the 396 motor bored to a 402 cubic inch. Only 1553 were produced with this option and I have read through research online that only eight are known to exist. If so, this would be number 9. This car has not been registered since the 80's. I purchased the car from the original owner who had bought the car new here in Phoenix at Courtesy Chevrolet. It has been an Arizona vehicle its entire life. Other options included A/C and vinyl roof. This is a four speed automatic transmission car. The bad: The 396 motor was taken out and replaced with a 327 Chevy motor in the early 80's due to the gas crunch that was experienced at that time. All other components appear to be original.
