Vehicle Detail
1951 dodge coronet. No engine or trans, this is a project car but has a few nice starting features. 4 wheel power disc brakes, currie enterprises 9 inch ford forged rear axle with 3.5 ratio. Rear has a willwood disc brake kit and parking brake kit and fronts are from master power brakes with correct master cylinder and power booster. Tilt steering column from Ididit and grant steering wheel. Toyo tires and American racing wheels on all 4. The front brake kit will likely fit other mopars from the early 50's but do your research to be sure. B&M shifter is installed and will shift a 727 trans, Not sure about other transmissions. The rear axle can easily be removed as well as the spring perches from the axle without damaging it for a swap to another vehicle if you desire. The differential yoke is centered. I can take measurements if this is what your goal is. If you are in the market for a currie built 9 inch ford with rear brakes and the width fits your needs this will be a steal. This axle cost me over $2,000. Electrical has been gone through, circuits are labeled and landed on circuit breakers in the trunk, battery terminals are located in the trunk. Fuel system will need to be completed as well as the steering system, it needs a new steering gear. this is a project car. 4 door with good body and chrome trim. All doors work, locks works, windows work, hood and trunk lid work. There are a few body dents but overall the body and interior are in good shape for a car that has never been restored. Comes with a custom made drive shaft that will slide into a 727 trans and bolt up to the rear axle. Engine bay has mounts for a mopar small block installed. Engine bay is pretty much empty other than the brake system. Bring it to life or part it out. The goal was to make this a nice hot rod but other things have come up in life so my loss is your gain. Rear axle alone cost more than what I will be asking as a reserve price. Located In Riverside CA. I can deliver out to about 100 miles for a small fee of 80 cents per mile, this must be paid in advance and arranged before delivery takes place. Also note delivery from me will only be available on weekends. Buyer to arrange any other sort of shipping or local pickup. Clear title on hand and is registered in Washington State.
