Vehicle Detail
This one of a kind Chevrolet Avalanche is the second generation version of General Motors' unique blending of a 4-door crew-cab pickup truck with a sport-utility vehicle. It is far cleaner-looking than the cladded-up 2001-2006 first generation version. The chassis is based on the full-size Chevy Suburban, the Avalanche replaces the 4-door SUV's rear roof section with a 5 ft., 3 inch long pickup bed. Between the cab portion and the bed is a mid-gate, which can be flipped down into the interior after folding the rear seat to create a load space which is 8 ft., 2 inches long and wide enough to carry 4 ft. x 8 ft. sheets of plywood with the lockable tailgate up. In addition, there are lockable storage compartments alongside the cargo box with drain hoses built in, and a 3-panel hard tonneau tough enough for an adult to stand on. Because the Avalanche is based on the Suburban, it shares that SUV's coil-spring rear suspension, which has a superior ride to Chevy pickups with more basic leaf springs. For 2007, the Avalanche was redesigned with all-new, sleeker sheet metal, more aerodynamic wraparound fronts and a new, more refined interior with more comfortable seats and stronger chassis aided ride and handling. This 4-wheel-drive (4WD) model features a 2-speed transfer case. This Avalanche offers tow capacity of 7,900 pounds and will haul payloads up to 1,300 pounds. It has much of the capability of a full-size crew-cab pickup with seating for five passengers, yet because its passenger and bed areas are integrated, it feels more solid structurally than a pickup with a separate bed. This superb truck features a full suite of safety systems, including 4-wheel anti-lock disc brakes, stability and traction control, front and side airbags and tire-pressure monitoring. The interior features classic black cloth seats with bucket full power fronts, spacious center console with four drink holders and faux wood trim. Special Features: 3" Rough country leveling kit 2" zone body lift 20% tint all the way around T-rex black grille w/ bottom inserts 6000k HID low and high beam lights 20x10 Moto metal rims with Cooper Discoverer H/T tires Light smoked fog lights K&N air filter Magnaflow exhaust 2 10" kicker CVR's w/bass knob Stock 6 disc CD/Mp3 deck This vehicle was registered in California and subsequently Idaho until 2013, it is beautifully rust free. It has been garage kept the entire time it has been in Wisconsin and was washed by a full service car wash weekly. I have maintained it meticulously and made any repair suggested to me by my local garage. There is a small rip in the driver's seat, the arm rest is slightly cracked, and a small dent above the right rear fender. There is one small crack in the dash and the trim piece on the driver side rear door is coming off slightly. Pictures are uploaded noting all of these items. The only reason I am selling is that we have our 4th child on the way. Contact me with any questions at 608-two13-6686. Similar to GMC Yukon, Chevrolet Tahoe, Ford Excursion and Expedition, Toyota Tundra, Nissan Armada, Cadillac Escalade EXT, Hummer H2 and H3. On Oct-21-15 at 05:40:40 PDT, seller added the following information: The small (tiny) dent noted in the remarks does not need immediate attention, the dent is so small that it is not visible on the close up photo that I uploaded. This was on the truck when I bought it and I did not feel the need to have it repaired.
