I am the first and the only owner of this wonderful, never seen collision (clear title) white 2000 Honda Odyssey 5 door van V6 with automatic transmission. I took good care for this van for all these years. The almost new engine (just broken-in with some 27k miles) starts and runs up beautifully and the van drives but has mechanical and cosmetic issues. Four years ago the original engine was replaced (almost $2000 job) at the local mechanic shop with another rebuild one. I have documentation for this engine swap - see the picture of the work invoice. Mainly - the transmission is failing. I drove this van home and it remained parked at the front for the last several months. I needed running vehicle fast, so I bought another one. Yes, you may locate another running Odyssey, but most of them of this vintage have 180k or much more miles on their engines. Can you read – “pending engine repair or replacement”?! This beauty has slightly more than 27k miles on its new engine! With transmission work and some body repairs and TLC, this will be a good van for someone for years to come (or for parts). What’s Good: Strong, recently installed second engine with slightly over 27k miles on it (see the picture of the work invoice). Good brakes, AC, radio, steering, electrical / light system, very clean velour interior (including the headliner) / all seats work (fold). Power windows, power locks, power mirrors work OK. Front tires have about 75%, back tires about 60% of thread. The engine was restarted several times during the last few months, starts and runs excellent. What’s not so Good: Transmission: failing / slipping (needs repair or replacement?). Electrical power doors: right side needs outside handle installed (I have the handle). Body damage on left (driver) side: dent on the rear fender panel (with some rust). Dent on the rear fender panel (with some rust). Dent on the door, lower front, next to fender (with some rust). See the attached pictures. Paint: old, needs good cleanup and/ or repaint. Car battery: few years old - may hold charge or not. Above I listed the vehicle’s general condition and the issues it has that I am aware of. There is no implied warranty and this vehicle is being sold AS IS, with no return option. The final bid buyer may pick up the vehicle following prearranged appointment.
