The Cherokee was sitting in a garage on the south side of Chicago for about 24 years until I purchased it about a month ago.The fuel in the tank had turned in to tar from sitting so long, the fuel tank, sending unit, fuel pump and fuel filter were all replaced with new parts.The carburetor was rebuilt as well. I sprayed the cylinders and let them soak in case the rings were stuck, the Jeep then got a full tune up with new plugs, wires, cap and rotor. The oil and filter were changed and a new battery installed. A new brake master cylinder was also installed. Everything works as it should with the low mileage, the Jeep comes with the original title from when it was purchased new and the original window stickers.It does have a small area of rust just behind the drivers door in the lower rocker, not rusted through but the paint is bubbling. The front bumper was lightly pushed in on the passenger side and other then a couple scratches the Jeep is in incredible condition for a 1984. The Cherokee runs and drives great however the tires are original and I would recommend having it towed until the tires can be replaced.I have all the original parts that were replaced if a buyer wants them.
