2005 Maserati Coupe Cambiocorsa super rare Vintage edition. The vintage addition has special vents on the fenders that are reminiscent of the 3500 GT of old. In addition it has factory polished wheels, chrome door handles and the Gransport front bumper and rear bumper. This car is completely stock with no modifications. This auction is NO RESERVE. Buying a Maserati can be scary, so let me put some of those fears to rest for you. I know Maserati cars. I own one that I do track days in and drive on sunny days. I am also a Maserati Club member. I have owned hundreds over the years. I bought one of the first Coupes in the US back in 2002. I know the idiosyncrasies of these cars and what to look for. This car is a great driver. CLUTCH, has been replaced and the SD computer reflects less then 10 percent wear. In addition this car has had a 6 hour professional clutch kiss point adjustment that is one of the best adjusted cars I have ever driven. To properly adjust the clutch on these vehicles you need a 40K dollar SD2/3 computer. The process is very labor intensive and includes cold parameter and warm parameter launch adjustments. This car is setup so good that I have scheduled the same service for my personal car. Further inspecting the car it is evident that this car has been maintained very well and has over 11 service records on Carfax. This car is one of the tightest coupes I have ever driven. The 2005 models have so many improvements over the 2002 cars that they can be considered an almost different car by driving feel. The car does have the classic Maserati flaws. Buttons are sticky. In addition, the useless nav screen comes on but at times turns off on it’s own and comes back on when it decides to. The car has the desired SKYHOOK suspension and is fully adjustable. There are no check engine lights etc. Everything works and has no issues. Car runs strong and I have touched 130 mph in it with confidence. The brakes are good and the rotors are not warped. Everything works properly and has no issues. The car does have clean title and carfax. Paintwork on the car is all original with the exception of the right rear quarter panel. There are no blatent damages on the car but it is a 10 year old car with 50K and can expect a rock chip, or normal wear and tear of a car of this age and miles.
