I am parting with my Goldwing. Up front everything is fine, color is faded a bit, tires and brakes good and it has had its 48000 mile check-up. It doesn't have hard miles on it. No cross country traveling. Recent years it was just used to work and back (six miles total). The bad news is that I am having transmission problems. Primarily with its lower gears, 1, 2, and 3. Four and five run smooth. I think it's with the main shift assembly. The teeth are spinning against each other. It's noticeable. But it does run. My wife won't let me buy another bike until I sell this one. I do not have the time, money, space and/or know how to pull the engine myself or pay someone else to do it for me. But if you're looking for a project, this is the one. I'm not looking to make a killing on this. Know it now that it has transmission problems and it will most likely have to be pulled.
