*****NO RESERVE****OK….here goes. I purchased this 1974 CB 450 here on ebay from a seller in Michigan who sells many, many vintage bikes on ebay. I used his buy it now (look at completed auctions). I had purchased from him once or twice before, and was a bit hesitant, but I clicked the Buy It Now and paid per his terms and picked the bike up. I felt immediately that I wasn't picking up the same bike described in his listing… I don't want to spend any more money getting front brakes rebuilt (hand brake is mushy and doesn't stop the bike) motor running properly (sure carbs are plugged as it barely ran and wouldn't stay running) as well as buy new tires as ones on bike are old and need replacement. Handlebar mounts should be replaced as too much movement. Turn signals need to be wired back up. Battery lost charge, but electric start did work and motor did run, but was rough and unridable as sure it needs complete tuneup and carbs cleaned. This may be the perfect candidate for that Cafe Project?? Bike does have nice original mufflers without holes on the bottom and is complete, but it will need tinkering and perhaps a good winter project for you but not for me. I stand to loose a bundle over what I paid, but at least I am describing the bike to the best of my knowledge. It has sat for many years as title is dated 1987. PLEASE Note- This is at NO RESERVE.
