Vehicle Detail
I have a nice 1967 Mustang. The car was built in San Jose, California and sold new in Mesa, Arizona. The Mustang was bought and owned by the same family until earlier this year. A car dealer purchased the car and had several things repaired and replaced on the car, including the gas tank. The original paint color was Clearwater Aqua with Aqua interior, and was repainted twice by the family, first green, then Wimbledon White. The interior color was changed to black. The car needed paint when I bought it, and I kept it white and added a black vinyl top. A new dual exhaust rear valance was added before painting. New one piece factory styled steel wheels and B.F. Goodrich tires were also installed. The highly optioned car came from San Jose with A/C and power steering, along with both the interior and exterior décor groups. A Marti report and the original Retail Buyer's Order is included with car, along with a few extra parts. The car runs and drives well around town. The power steering makes it easy to drive, and I consider it to be a nice driver, The new paint is not perfect but shows well. The interior is also in good condition. There are no rips or tears in the seats, although there is a tear in the headliner. Sheet metal alignment looks to be pretty good also. The car leaks a very small amount of oil on my garage floor. The A/C seems to be all there, and the compressor operates, but it doesn't cool the car. Fog lights installed by original owner work on a switch from the console. All exterior lights and turn signals, including hood turn signals operate, as do the horn and fan switch. Floor console light works but lens is broken. Top console lights do not work. May just need bulbs. Exhaust looks older but sounds cool. The original owner added the 1968 front side markers to the car. There are a few things I would do to the car if I were to keep it longer, but the only thing on the car that NEEDS to be repaired is the driver side door latch. Sometimes it sticks. The car received an undercoating when purchased (see Buyer's Order) and still retains a lot of the undercoat. I have attempted to list any and all defects, however minor, in this listing. The car is licensed, driven a couple times a week, and has a clear title in my name. The winning bidder must send $500 within 48 hours of end of auction. Car will not leave my house until funds are cleared through my bank. If you need any more information on the car, or pictures, I will do my best to get it. Thanks and good luck.
