You are bdding on a bone stock, un-molested 1989 M3 with a build date of 12/88. Car is Daimond Schwarz with Nature interior. This car should be considered as a restoration candidate. The car has been keyed on the hood, trunk and other panels. There is rust in the usual spots such as the windshield cowl, area around the license plate lamps, and some minor bubbling on the sunroof panel. All of the afforementioned is pictured. There is also a small dent on the hood and small dings on some of the vertical panels. The car was in 2 accidents in the past but never sustained any frame damage. The 1st accident rusulted in replacement of the front bumper cover, and hood. The second accident resulted in replacement of the passenger side door and fender. The VIN tags are still present on the driver side front fender, rear deck lid, driver door etc. The mirror glass is missing in the pics (except for the 1st pic) and I have a extra set of mirrors and mirror glass that are included with the car. I will also include a BRAND NEW OEM windshield cowl with the car. The driver seatback frame is broken and needs to be re-welded. The front passenger seat back is seized and cannot be adjusted from the position that is pictured. The dash is crack free which is rare on a car like this. I will include new vinyl seat covers for the front seats. The engine has not been started in 5 years. The engine had good compression when it was running but it had a timing chain "slap". The alternator had stopped charging as well before it was put into storage. Tires are worn and require replacement. The car will probably run fine with a few days worth of work. If I were to keep it I would rebuild the engine and repaint the entire car. I am selling it because I am trying to finish another E30 M3 project. I would highly recoomed a full restoration on this car or a driver level rebuild. Car is SOLD AS IS without warranty expressed or implied. I only lifted the carpet in order to take a picture of the spare tire and trunk floor. I think one small piece of the plastic trim in the trunk is cracked. The battery is missing because it died years ago due to the alternator not charging. All other interior trim and exterior trim is present.
