Ladies and Gentleman, start your imagination. The day has come and my little Black Fury is going on the Auction Block. Sadly, I have to part with hear after a fun and fulfilled relations ship that lasted a solid three years. As love affairs go, and I feel some what guilty, yes, I went for a Vanquish '07. She was always Garaged and she was my Weekend or second Car Romance. I had her regularly at the Swiss Motors in Culver City for premium Oil Changes and maintenance checkups. She lacked nothing short of a "first class treatment". When I first saw her it was love at first sight from Autobahn in Fallmouth, CA. (San Diego) Nov 2012. She handles better than the Porsche 911, 1988, 3.2 Carrera that I replaced her at the time. Excluding the Woods, she will take two Golf bags across in the "trunk". You will be hard pressed not to fit not just your luggage, no, your spouses and all her amnesties. Her sweet spot is the 3500 to the 5000 Rpm range in second or third or reversed from third into second just as you approach that "S" turn... BMW road handling is flawless and she does not disappoint. She is a solid Car, six cylinder and she is a true Roadster. Behind the wheel you will look over her long hood and you have excellent visibility all around. The death spots are non existent and it makes weaving in and out of City traffic lanes a pleasure. She corners almost like a 914. I always treated her like the Lady she is. Gentle but firm.
