This Cadillac is completely all original, and in incredible Concours d’Elegance condition. 52,870 actual miles. I am the second owner.  The original owner, a real estate agent, purchased the car new to show “special customers” high end properties.  At all other times it was in the garage.  This car has been loved and extensively maintained all its life and it shows.  Stunning color combination, silver frost over dark carmine.  The car was purchased from Saint Claire Cadillac in Santa Clara, California, and has lived in this dry very low humidity climate all its life.  Looking at the bottom of the car, it doesn’t look like it’s ever been driven in the rain.  This is a true solid frame Cadillac, produced at the Fischer Fleetwood factory in Arlington Texas.  The 5.0 liter engine for 1989 was completely redesigned.  This was the last year for the Oldsmobile derived engine used by Cadillac.  GM went to great lengths to maximize low end torque and refinement which allows for 1300 RPM operation at 60 MPH.  This engine features, electronically controlled four barrel carburetor, roller camshaft, redesigned pistons with swirl port heads.  It is arguably one of the quietest V8’s GM has ever produced.  When the Brougham went to the Chevrolet derived 5.0 and 5.7 liter engines in 1990, the axle ratio had to be changed because the Chevy engines tended to “chug” at very low RPM’s.   I had a beautiful 1990 Brougham with the 5.7, liter engine and while having a little more power, it was not nearly as refined, you always heard the engine and the ride was not the wafting ride we all want in a Cadillac.   This car looks and drives as it did the day it left the factory.  Every option works as it should.  Everything is tight and there are no rattles.  The low mileage, and always being garage kept is evident everywhere.  The top of the leather cushions are straight and fit perfect.  Look at others and you will see they are wavy and misshapen from sun damage.  All the leather is soft and supple.  All bumper fillers are soft, pliable and free of cracks. The car still smells new inside.  Starts easily, smooth and quiet.  Wonderful to drive.  Car comes with all books, keys, Cadillac cassette tape, window sticker, build sheet, hubcap lock key and a thick folder of receipts.
