NO RESERVE Grand National collector's dream !!!ONLY 215 EVER PRODUCED WHO KNOW'S HOW MANY ARE LEFT!! In 1982, the Regal Grand National debuted, which was named for the NASCAR Winston Cup Grand National Series. These 1982 cars were not painted black, which may confuse those not familiar with them. All started out as charcoal gray Regals that were shipped off to a subcontractor for finishing. Originally intended for a run of 100 units, Cars and Concepts of Brighton, Michigan, retrofitted 215 Regals with the GN package. Most obvious was the light silver gray firemist paint added to each side. Red pinstripes and billboard shadow lettering proclaiming "BUICK" were applied. The wheel opening moldings and rocker panel moldings were blacked out using black vinyl tape. Finally, a front air dam and rear spoiler were installed. On the inside, special "Lear-Siegler" seats were installed. These seats are fully adjustable and were covered with silver brandon cloth with black vinyl inserts. The front seat had Buick's "6" emblem embroidered onto them. To finish it off, a special clock delete plate was added to the instrument panel which contained the yellow and orange "6" logo and the words "GRAND NATIONAL BUICK MOTOR DIVISION.") WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE CAR.......... EVERYTHING IS MINOR FOR A 33 YEAR OLD CAR!!! Cracked driver's side front bumper filler, some of hood faded, driver's side door 1 inch paint bubble, original tires dry rot. drivers side rear trunk spoiler little bubble spot, crack drivers side above visor, driver's seat two rips, passenger door dime size on the vinyl wore off, power locks don't work. Paint is original and has scratches on it here and there EVERYTHING IS MINOR FOR A 33 YEAR OLD CAR!!! I DIDN'T FIX ANYTHING ON THE CAR BECAUSE I WANTED IT TO STAY ORIGINAL. The car has been sitting for more than 10 years in storage so it will need a tune-up. I put a new battery in it and it started right up and I drove it a few miles it rides real nice!!! YOU NEVER SEE THESE CARS FOR SALE!!! YES BLOWS COLD.....Power windows both sides work properly? THEY ALL WORK THEY ARE JUST VERY SLOW.....Rear defogger,COULDN'T TELL THE WINDOW WASN'T FOGGED UP, BUT THE REAR DEFOG LIGHT CAME ON.... radio and cassette, RADIO AND CASSETTE WORK......cruise control WORKS ......, manual mirror controls,BOTH WORK.......... all gauges (speedometer, coolant, volts, etc..) all working and functioning properly? NO DASH WARNING LIGHTS ARE ON WHEN THE CAR IS RUNNING.......All exterior and interior lights working? ALL WORK, HEADLIGHTS, HIGH BEAMS, BRAKE LIGHTS, LEFT AND RIGHT TURN SIGNALS AND ALL INTERIOR LIGHTS WORK Do the T-tops come out and install properly? THE PREVIOUS OWNER AND I HAVE NEVER TAKEN OFF THE T-TOPS BUT THEY DO NOT LEAK Was it a two barrel or 4 barrel carburetor? IT'S A TWO BARREL power locks? THE PASSENGER POWER LOCK BUTTON LOCKS AND UNLOCKS BOTH DOORS THE DRIVER'S SIDE BUTTON DOESN'T WORK.
