You are bidding on a 1986 Mercury Grand Marquis 4 door sedan project to finish. I am moving soon and I don't have time to work on it any more. I would just like to see it go to someone who can use it, rather than the scrap yard. This is a 40k original mile car that I purchased from the original owner's grandson. The brake and accelerator pedals are not even worn down. The 302 V8 5.0 liter engine only needs a new egr valve. It will stall quite easily at the moment. Otherwise, the engine, transmission, rear end, brakes, etc, are all in good condition. The rear bumper and trunk lid were rusted through and they have been discarded. The only other rust is in the right rear passenger floor, which is pictured. The frame, body panels, front bumper, hood, etc, are all rust-free. There was also no rust under the vinyl roof. It just needs the rest of the adhesive stripped. The tires have like-new tread and are a little over a year old. Three of the four power windows still work fine. The power mirrors still work and the chrome is not pitted whatsoever. The interior has been gutted. If you have one of these cars that is rusted out, this is a perfect opportunity to transfer your good interior and trim items to this car.
