THANK YOU AND GOOD LUCK!1976 Porsche 912E Coupe - EBAY "NO RESERVE" AUCTIONIntroduction Hello, I’m Marc Schiliro the owner of MS CLASSIC CARS. You might recognize my name or my business name from beautiful classic cars and trucks I’ve collected and sold nationally. I’ve got over 15 years of classic car and truck experience. I’d like to put that experience to work for you. Over the years I’ve collected and sold over 300 classic cars and trucks. I own the entire inventory and know each vehicle well. I don’t offer consignments but will occasionally list a vehicle for a family member or friend. I currently sell 90% of my classic cars and trucks privately on various websites and 10% of my classic cars and trucks at the Barrett Jackson auto auctions. I’ve had many vehicles sell in the top 25 highest sale priced vehicles at multiple Barrett Jackson auctions. They’ve also offered some of my cars as the “Marc Schiliro Collection”. I was fortunate to have Speed TV at my new facility for an interview for Barrett Jackson that aired during the Barrett Jackson auto auction in Palm Beach 2012. I’ve also featured many classic cars and trucks at multiple different auctions across the United States. I also have had many vehicles that have been featured in multiple magazines and multiple websites. I specialize in beautiful classic cars and trucks that have what I call “The Pop Factor”. I purchase classic cars and trucks that are already completed and slightly redesign them, service them and detail them. I have also coordinated restorations from start to finish. However, currently I’m not doing full restorations as it takes too much time and money. I love what I do and I’m extremely passionate about it! I opened the new facility located in Seekonk, Massachusetts in 2012. MS CLASSIC CARS is closed to the public but available by appointment Monday-Friday. We offer about 25 classic cars and trucks for sale between the current inventory and coming soon page. We also offer complete automotive detailing. Our facility is very neat and organized. When you call you deal directly with me. I appreciate the opportunity. I’ll consider all trades. If you’d like to be added to the MS CLASSIC CARS VIP EMAIL BLAST that gets sent to thousands of people when we get a new addition please visit my website and sign up. Please also like MS CLASSIC CARS on Facebook for updates. The power of networking is amazing! MarketI've been collecting classic cars and trucks for over 15 years now and have seen a lot happen. I've seen the hobby continue to grow not only at the auctions but also with the amount of television shows, magazines and websites that are related to classic cars in some form or another. I strongly believe the classic car market is a great place to invest in. When the economy is strong, the classic car market is extremely strong. When the economy isn't so strong the classic car market holds its own. I've sold classic cars and trucks in both economic conditions. The reason classic cars make such a great investment is because people are crazy about cars, especially the classics! I've learned it's not just the United States; it’s the entire world. Barrett Jackson stated, "Foreigners can sometimes represent 25% of the registered bidders at one of our auctions." At the Barrett Jackson in Scottsdale, AZ 2011 they stated, "There was a registered bidder from every state in the USA.” I've also learned that no matter the gender or age, all different people appreciate this hobby. Another example would be the Barrett Jackson auto auctions; not only do millions of people watch it live on the Speed Channel but hundreds of thousands of people attend these auctions. Every year the attendance of visitors at the event and number of viewers on T.V. increase. Over the years I've noticed that the extremely detailed classic cars have always commanded a higher price. Even people who don't have any classic car experience can recognize and appreciate attention to detail. Currently the overall market is on the raise once again. Certain classic cars are on the rise and others are on the decline. Typically, the classic cars that are on the rise are the cars that a lot of people don't own. In other words, there are classic cars that haven't saturated the market. The cars that are at every car show and auction and page on the Internet for sale are the ones that aren't changing in value or are slowly on the decline. Of course, if the car is spectacular it will command a higher price as I mentioned. It's all about supply and demand, not a good or bad economy. Custom cars have remained strong because each car is different from the next one. They each have their own character. I’m just a 39 year old blue collar guy who was working full time selling new and used Mercedes Benz. I was selling my classic cars and trucks part time. Although I had my used car dealer’s license I didn’t have a facility that was open to the public. Overall things were going just fine. However, my dream was to open my own classic car and truck dealership. I decided to give up my full time job with health insurance and a 401K to open a new classic and truck dealership. I had to invest a ton of money to make that happen and now have a lot more overhead. The bottom line is I went all in. Do you think I would’ve done all that if I didn’t think the classic car and truck market wasn’t going to remain strong? “I’m putting my money where my mouth is” Marc Schiliro – The Owner Description1976 Porsche 912E Coupe OFFERED ON EBAY AT “NO RESERVE”! NO RESERVE. NO RESERVE. NO RESERVE. SOLD. SOLD. SOLD! THIS IS A GREAT LOOKING AND DRIVING CAR! EVERYTHING IS IN WORKING ORDER! DOCUMENTED MATCHING NUMBERS! YES, THIS VEHICLE WILL BE SOLD TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER ON EBAY. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME THIS CAR HAS BEEN MARKETED FOR SALE. THIS IS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO PURCHASE A LIMITED PRODUCTION CLASSIC PORSCHE FOR A REASONABLE PRICE. THIS ISN’T ONLY A GREAT INVESTMENT BUT A GREAT CAR TO ENJOY! ONE OF ONLY 2090 MADE! After a six-year absence, the 912 was re-introduced to North America as the 1976 model year 912E (internal factory designation 923) which shared the "G-Series" bodywork with the 911S. The "Prototype" Museum collection in Hamburg, Germany includes a 912E preseries vehicle constructed utilizing a 911 Chassis No. 911 520 1617 and four-cylinder VW-Porsche 90HP 2.0L Type 4 similar to the late-model 2.0L 914/4. Once in production, the 912E was powered by an 86 hp 2.0 L refined with a new Bosch L-Jetronic (Air Flow Controlled) fuel injection system. The 912E occupied the entry-level position left vacant by the discontinuation of the 914, while the new 924– another Porsche-Volkswagen joint effort vehicle and the 914's official replacement – was being finalized and put into production. During the production run of May 1975 to July 1976, Porsche manufactured nearly 2,100 of the 912E, targeted to the United States market. PORSCHE CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY IS INCLUDED AND PICTURED BELOW! AS THE PORSCHE CERTIFICATE INDICATES THIS CAR IS MATCHING NUMBERS. MS CLASSIC CARS HAVE BEEN SLOWLY COLLECTING CLASSIC AND SOME NEWER PORSCHES OVER THE LAST YEAR. THE TWO MOST RECENT INCLUDE A 1971 PORSCHE 911T COUPE AND A 2012 PORSCHE 911 TURBO. BELIEVE IT OR NOT THE 1971 WAS YELLOW. BOTH OF THESE VEHICLES WERE SOLD. MS CLASSIC CARS IS CURRENTLY RESTORING A 1969 PORSCHE 911T COUPE THAT IS GOING TO BE ONE OF THE BEST RESTORATIONS AVAILABLE. IT’S SILVER WITH BLACK INTERIOR AND MATCHING NUMBERS. THE 1976 PORSCHE 912E COUPE YOU’RE ABOUT TO WITNESS HAS HUGE “EYEBALLS” LIKE THE LAST YELLOW ONE I SOLD. THIS CAR STANDS OUT AND GETS A TON OF ATTENTION. THIS CAR WAS PURCHASED FROM A GENTLEMAN BY A FRIEND OF MINE WHO OWNS A SMALL CAR DEALERSHIP DOWN THE STREET FROM MY DEALERSHIP. ONE DAY I WAS DRIVING BY AND NOTICED IT IN HIS SHOWROOM. OF COURSE I DROVE IN TO CHECK IT OUT. I REALLY LIKED THE CAR AND HE TOLD ME HOW GOOD IT RAN AND DROVE. I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE A GOOD FIT FOR MY DEALERSHIP SINCE I COLLECT CLASSIC CARS. WE AGREED I WOULD MARKET IT AND KEEP IT IN MY SHOWROOM. THE CAR IS BEING SOLD THROUGH MY DEALERSHIP. HE UNFORTUNATELY DOESN’T HAVE ANY DOCUMENTATION TO SUPPORT THE LIGHT-RESTORATION BUT I CAN SHARE WHAT HE AND I BOTH LEARNED. I’LL START BY SAYING THIS CAR APPEARS TO HAVE ALL THE ORIGINAL SHEET METAL. THE BODY IS VERY STRAIGHT WITH NO SIGNS OF ANY RUST ISSUES WHICH WAS COMMON WITH THESE CARS. THE HOOD, DOORS AND DECK LID OPEN AND CLOSE EXCELLENT. THE LOWER ROCKERS ARE IN GREAT CONDITION. IT RETAINS ALL THE ORIGINAL FACTORY TAGS IN THE DOOR JAM AND UNDER THE CARPET IN THE FRONT COMPARTMENT. THIS CAR WAS BORN WITH LIGHT YELLOW PAINT WHICH IS CODE #B6. THE CAR WAS PAINTED AND IS OVERALL VERY PRESENTABLE. I’M NOT 100% SURE IF THIS COLOR IS EXACTLY LIKE THE FACTORY COLOR BUT IT’S A GREAT COLOR. THE PAINT HAS BEEN COMPOUNDED AND BUFFED TO A NICE SHINE. THE PAINT ON THIS CAR IS NICE ENOUGH TO TAKE HOME A TROPHY AT A LOCAL CAR SHOW BUT YOU’RE NOT WINNING AN AWARD FOR PAINT IF THAT MAKES ANY SENSE. THIS IS A NICE PAINT JOB BUT IT’S NOT A HIGH END PAINT JOB. IT DOES HAVE A FEW CHIPS, FISH EYES, ETC. IT APPEARS THE DOOR JAMES, AREA AROUND DECK LID, ENGINE COMPARTMENT, FRONT COMPARTMENT AND UNDERCARRIAGE RETAIN THE ORIGINAL PAINT. EVERYTHING ON THE EXTERIOR APPEARS TO BE RESTORED OR REPLACED. SOME OF THESE ITEMS INCLUDE THE WINDOW MOLDINGS, MIRRORS, DOOR HANDLES, LIGHT BEZELS, LIGHTS, HEADLIGHTS, RUBBER BUMPERS, ETC. THE WHEELS ARE WRAPPED WITH NEW DUNLOP 185/70/14 TIRES. THE CAR ORIGINALLY CAME WITH DUNLOP TIRES WHEN IT LEFT THE FACTORY SO IT ONLY MADE SENSE. THIS CAR WAS BORN WITH CINNAMON LEATHERETTE WHICH IS CODE #31. THIS INTERIOR IS IN BEAUTIFUL OVERALL CONDITION. THIS INTERIOR IS VERY COMFORTABLE AND WAS DONE RIGHT. EVERYTHING IN THE INTERIOR APPEARS TO BE RESTORED OR REPLACED. SOME OF THESE ITEMS INCLUDE THE HEADLINER, DASH, DOOR PANELS, SEATS, CARPET, ETC. THE FRONT SEATS HAVE BEEN UPGRADED AND ARE VERY COMFORTABLE COMPARED TO THE FACTORY SEATS. THE SOUND SYTEM WAS ALSO UPGRADED AND SOUNDS GREAT ESPECIALLY COMPARED TO THE FACTORY SYSTEM. AS MENTIONED ABOVE EVERYTHING IN THIS CAR IS IN WORKING ORDER WHICH IS RARE FOR A CLASSIC PORSCHE. AS AN EXAMPLE SOME OF THE ITEMS ARE ALL THE GAUGES, CLOCK, HORN, LIGHTS, DIRECTIONALS, DOME LIGHT, HEAT, WINDSHIELD WIPERS, ETC. THE WINDOWS ROLL UP AND DOWN VERY NICELY. THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT APPEARS TO BE MOSTLY ORIGINAL AND IS VERY CLEAN. IT RETAINS THE ORIGINAL MATCHING NUMBERS 2.0L 4 CYL. I WAS TOLD THE ENGINE WAS REBUILT ROUGHLY 15,000 MILES AGO BUT I CAN’T DOCUMENT THAT. WHAT I CAN SAY IS THE ENGINE IS VERY CLEAN AND IT 100% HAS BEEN TAKEN OUT AND GONE THROUGH MORE RECENTLY. IT STARTS AND RUNS GREAT. IT ONLY TAKES A SHORT TIME TO WARM UP AND PURRS LIKE A KITTEN. I WILL MENTION IT IS MISSING WHAT APPEARS TO BE THE FACTORY SMOG SETUP AND THE WIRE COVER WHICH ARE BOTH NO BIG DEAL. LIKE MOST OF THE CLASSIC PORSCHES IT DOES LEAK A SMALL AMOUNT OF OIL WHICH ONCE AGAIN IS NO BIG DEAL. THE ENGINE IS COUPLED TO THE 5-SPEED TRANSMISSION. THE CLUTCH IS VERY EASY TO USE AND FEELS GREAT. I WOULD ASSUME IT WAS REPLACED WHEN THE ENGINE WAS REBUILT. THE TRANSMISSION GOES THROUGH THE GEARS VERY SMOOTHLY WITH NO ISSUES. THE FRONT COMPARTMENT IS VERY NEAT WITH NEW CARPETING. UNDER THE CARPETING IT APPEARS TO BE ORIGINAL INCLUDING ITEMS AS THE PAINT, VIN PLATE AND STICKER NEXT TO VIN PLATE. IT HAS THE SPACE SAVER SPARE TIRE. THERE ARE NO TOOLS. THE UNDERCARRIAGE APPEARS TO BE ALL ORIGINAL AND VERY SOLID. IT’S VERY DRY AND PRESENTABLE AS THE PHOTOS BELOW INDICATE. IT WOULDN’T TAKE MUCH FOR SOMEONE TO RESTORE THE UNDERCARRIAGE IF THEY WANTED TOO. IT WOULDN’T BE FOR RUST ISSUES BUT FOR COSMETIC APPEARANCE. THE SERVICE MANUALS, TOOLS AND MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS PICTURED BELOW ARE INCLUDED. THIS CAR WAS INSPECTED BY MY FRIENDS DEALERSHIP. IT WASN’T SERVICED AT MS CLASSIC CARS. I HAVE PERSONALLY SPENT SOME TIME WITH THE CAR AND DRIVEN IT ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS. IT RUNS AND DRIVES REALLY NICE! MS CLASSIC CARS COMPLETED A FULL CLASSIC CAR DETAIL MINUS THE UNDERCARRIAGE VALUED AT $350.00 “AS MY WEBSITE INDICATES I’VE COLLECTED AND SOLD HUNDREDS OF BEAUTIFUL CLASSIC CARS OVER THE YEARS. AS I MENTIONED ABOVE I’VE STARTED COLLECTING CLASSIC AND SOME NEWER PORSCHES. I’M ALSO IN THE PROCESS OF HAVING ONE OF MY SHOPS DOING A ROTISSERIE RESTROATION ON A 1969 PORSCHE 911T COUPE. THE POINT BEING IS THE 1976 PORSCHE 912E YOUR ABOUT TO WITNESS IS A REALLY SWEET RIDE. IF YOU’RE LOOKING FOR A HIGH END SHOW CAR WITH AN OPEN CHECK BOOK THIS ISN’T THE RIGHT CAR. IF YOU’RE LOOKING FOR A GREAT DRIVER IN A REASONABLE PRICE RANGE THIS IS THE PERFECT CAR. CLASSIC PORSCHES MAKE GREAT INVESTMENTS ESPECIALLY IN THIS PRICE RANGE AS THE PRICE CAN REALLY ONLY RISE. THIS IS A LIMITED EDITION MODEL THAT IS MATCHING NUMBERS. IT’S DOCUMENTED WITH THE PORSCHE CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY. IT STILL RETAINS A LOT OF ORIGINALITY AND HAS BEEN LIGHTLY RESTORED. THIS CAR HAS HUGE EYEBALLS AND GETS A LOT OF ATTENTION. THIS IS A TURN KEY CAR THAT WILL PROVIDE MANY YEARS OF ENJOYMENT FOR THE NEW OWNER. THIS IS YOUR CHANCE TO GET A GREAT CAR FOR A GREAT PRICE. IT’S BEING FEATURED ON EBAY AT NO RESERVE SO PLACE YOUR BID. GET IT BEFORE SOMEONE ELSE DOES!” MARC SCHILIRO – THE OWNER. Inspection ReportUnfortunately most classic vehicles that are being advertised for sale by dealers and private parties aren't exactly what are being advertised for sale. This is an industry with no real guidelines and everyone's opinion is completely different. The average consumer doesn’t realize classic vehicles weren’t restored at the factory and are being restored by people in their garages. Everyone’s level of restoration experience is different and it shows in the restoration. An example would be a classic vehicle that's being advertised as an original model with matching numbers could be a phony with a reproduction trim tag and re stamped numbers on the engine block, etc. Another example would be a classic vehicle is being advertised as a full restoration when indeed only a few things have been restored. There are many classic vehicles listed for sale that have cosmetic and mechanical issues with such items as the lights, body hinges, gauges, window components, steering components, upholstery, engine leaks and tuning, radiators, transmission, rear end, brake components and suspension components. The consumers are spending thousands of dollars repairing the classic vehicles they've purchased after the sale. At MS CLASSIC CARS I own the entire inventory and take pride in what I sell. I'm not a consignment dealer who is only looking to make a quick buck on a vehicle that they don't even own. I’ve seen dealers and private parties purchase classic vehicles at auctions and online and immediately list them for sale. They never even touched the vehicle. Even with 15+ years’ experience and having collected and sold over 300 classic vehicles I’ve experienced that all the classic vehicles need some attention. Obviously some need more than others but the bottom line is they all need something. I do the best of our ability to purchase quality classic vehicles, prepare them and advertise them honestly. To be clear I’m not in the restoration business. I collect and sell classic vehicles that have already been restored and do our best to bring them to another level with service and detail work. Unlike many dealers when you call or email to inquire about a classic vehicle you speak directly to me. I purchase all the classic vehicles for MS CLASSIC CARS, follow the service and detail process, write the descriptions, take the photos, advertise them for sale and answer all the calls and emails. I'll personally go over the entire vehicle and tell you everything I knows about it. I'll also give you my personal opinion about the classic vehicle of your choice and decide if it’s truly the right fit for you. If you've read the introduction tab or visited my website you’ll probably agree I'm a bit of a perfectionist and represent very detailed classic vehicles. MS CLASSIC CARS has a great reputation and we continue to raise the bar in the classic car and truck world. These are older vehicles and aren’t new but were doing our best to make them function, look great and honestly describe them. I sell our classic cars and trucks very quickly because consumers see the value. I’m currently selling 80% of my vehicles within 30 days of listing them for sale. Once you've committed to purchase a classic vehicle from MS CLASSIC CARS, I’ll make it a very easy process from start to finish. Once the funds have cleared I'll immediately mail the paperwork USPS 2-day air. A CD with the description and photos of the vehicle you purchased will be included in the package. I'll also assist in enclosed door to door transportation. I look forward to working with you. Please read my testimonials and eBay positive feedback. Thank you for the opportunity!
