It has the original inline 6 cylinder 216 ci motor with 3 on the tree transmission. Both run strong. The day this listing posted I drove it about 30 miles in the 99 degree Texas heat and it drove great. This car is in great shape. Is it a show winner? No. Would you be embarrassed to take it to a show? Absolutely not. I have owned this car for about 3 years. It has been garage kept. The body is in exceptional shape and has no dents or damage anywhere. The only rust is very very minor surface rust below the back window (as you see in the pictures) and very very minor surface rust in the trunk floor (as you can see by the pictures). Both are minor surface rust. AGAIN, THERE ARE ABSOLUTELY NO HOLES DUE TO RUST THAT I HAVE EVER SEEN. It has all of its trim. The chrome on the bumpers is in excellent shape. This car has the VERY RARE back wheel skirts. The interior is in fair shape. Everything is there. No rips in the seats. The door panels and headliner probably need to be replaced. They have no rips or holes but its not stretched tight. It looks ok. The driver's side window and passengers side window are cracked (as seen in the pictures). Besides these minor things I can say that this is one of the straightest, rust free antique cars that I have owned or seen. It’s a great find and if kept the way it has been, there is no doubt that this car will last another 65 years. I also have the sun visor that fits this car included in this sale. I do not have the mounting brackets for each side but these are not that difficult to find or could easily be fabricated. $500.00 deposit required thru paypal within 24 hours of winning the auction.
