1978 Camaro RS. 383 stroker, TH350 auto. Yellow/Black. Needs to be put back together. I bought this car thinking I would be the one to re assemble what someone else had started but I simply don't have the time. I have another Z28 and that's enough. The body and sub frames of the car is solid, looks to be original floors and sheet metal though some typical minor body work was done and car was re painted. Trunk area and window corners all good and solid. There are two very small areas, one on a lower rocker, one low on front fender, that have very slight paint bubbles but hardly noticeable. Overall its a real nice paint job and shines real nice. The front springs are currently set up for big block motor and should be changed if you are keeping the small block. Interior was gutted and heater box was removed and tossed with the intention of smoothing off the firewall. I do have all duct work, plenum and hoses for the heater assembly. Right now a new carpet is in, the back seats, trim panels, rear deck lid, new center console and new B&M mega shifter are all in. The front seats are an aftermarket type seat and have not been bolted in yet but are sitting there, motor, trans, driveshaft and rear end are all in, car has ladder bars and air shocks underneath in back. Rear end believed to be a posi unit based on both tires evenly worn and rubber on the quarters... also, hood scoop was opened up to be functional. I do not have the radio, wipers or motor or heater box or controls. I have just about all the other parts needed to put the rest of this car back together, interior trim panels, door panels, door sills, brand new head liner in the box, front chin spoiler, air cleaner, arm rests, sun visors, antenna, lights, bezels, bolts, screws. Tires are 275/60/15 in back and have a little life left in them. Fronts are 165/80/15 and are like new. all tires mounted on Weld wheels. The pictures of the car fully assembled are to show what it was before disassembly. Previous owner was after a full interior, under hood detail but never finished. I will work on putting the nose back on and get it running while this auction is going on. Shipping the car is the responsibility of the buyer. A $500.00 dollar deposit is required upon auction ending. Update: Nose is on, motor is mostly back together...rear end is posi, 4:11 gears. I uploaded a few more pictures. UPDATE: 09/12 : We spent last 2 days heavy on this car. Front end is on and pannels are lined up. Engine is fired up and runs great. Nasty bitch! This is going to make someone happy. It's definetly a cool car. I have just a few thing to finish up. Radiator hoses and fan... then need to locate wiper motor and assembly. Still has no heater box. Don't miss this guys...I'd say for $1500 bucks more just to tweek a few things like road tires in front, tail lights because they are tinted and I'm not a big fan, close up the firewall where the heater box was and this will be a kick ass hot rod.
