1966 Ford Thunderbird 2 door coupe . All original .The original owner passed away years ago and his widow decided it was time for it to go , and I now have the car . The car has sat in a storage garage since 1983 . The engine is a 390 V-8 with an automatic transmission . I had to use a breaker bar to remove the spark plugs . The engine will need a tune up , and a starter for sure . The plugs are out , and the plug wires broke when removing them . The car has 79,000 original miles . It is 100% complete . It has all 4 original matching hubcaps . It does have the original fender skirts in the back seat , and they are in pretty good shape . The floor boards are good , but the trunk floor has one of the springs coming up through due to broken spring shackles. She still has the original floor mats , and 8 track player in the car . Needs a battery , since the old one has been in the car since before it was put into storage . The body needs a lot of work , but is fairly straight considering .All of the glass is perfect . The interior is in excellent shape with the exception of needing a good cleaning , which I hope to do in the next couple of days . Dash is perfect . All of the instrument panel and controls are in excellent condition . It does have the steering wheel the slides to the side . If you know anything about these cars , you know how expensive the interior is on them . The front seats alone sell for up to $400 per seat . The center console is perfect . The car rolls easily to load onto a trailer . I have seen a good back seat bring up to $1000 on ebay . This car could be restored , rat rod , or used for parts . Well worth the asking price , with money to be made .I have included a picture of the spring coming up through the floor . Again , THE VEHICLE IS NOT RUNNING AT THIS TIME . I hooked up my car battery , a,d all of the electrical items in the car appear to still be in working order .
