Hi we offer for sale a totally original unrestored unmolested Land Rover Defender 110 td station wagon. This is ideal import vehicle for the US as it has all original chassis / mechanics /bodywork and interior. We have imported a number of original vehicles in to the US and all over the world with no problems what so ever, You do hear about people having problems with customs allowing vehicles in to the US, but this is dew to vehicles that have been rebuilt or restored and in a none original condition, such as galv chassis, air con, 200/300tdi/td5 or tdci engines, 6 speed gearboxes the list goes on and on.I have even heard tales of defenders being rejected because the doors have been changed. So why pay well over the odds from some snake oil salesman in a sharp suit? if you want your defender to look like new do it once it is in the US for a fraction of the cost and a fraction of the risk. We have over 35 years experience with Land rovers as part of our agricultural engineering business, and have a reputation second to none in all aspects of our business, We don't make wild over the top claims!! we don't pretend we are something were not, we are in business to make a profit and we have our reputation to protect. What has to be used is good old common sense, Any land rover defender that can legally be imported to the US has to be at least 25 years old, and as anyone with an ounce of sense knows a 25 year old landy is not going to look like a brand new vehicle. Once a land rover has clearance for use in the US and is registered there, it can at that point be restored up to whatever spec you wish inc engine options/ body options etc .Please note All vehicles we export can have a HERITAGE CERTIFICATE (at extra cost) These are of no use and a totally pointless exercise as they mean nothing, anyone can obtain a certificate by simply filling out a form on line, vehicles with these certificates have NOT been inspected and certified by anyone. VEHICLE OFFERED FOR SALE LAND ROVER DEFENDER 110 STATION WAGON 2.5 TD 5 DOOR 12 SEATER 1989( US Ebaysystem will not recognize VIN numbers for uk cars newer than 1981, THIS VEHICLE IS A 1989 26 year old vehicle) this has only done 103000 miles from new with full up to date service history. This Defender is in our storage facility and ready to go With no delays, we have all paperwork ID and service records. This vehicle is open to any inspection, test drive at any time. CHASSIS, All original with id numbers, outriggers/ rear cross member/ bulkhead all solid and original to vehicle, no welding required. All been waxoiled to help prevent future corrosion,All cleaned and ready for any INSPECTION. Wax oil is not a stone chip or underseal product that is used by some less honest dealers to cover up imperfections and make a rusty chassis (frame) look good. ENGINE, 2.5 TD original to vehicle with matching numbers, starts stops as it should, pulls really well, no nasty noises, no smoke, no leaks, no overheating, Just had a full service by us and comes with fully stamped service book up to date. GEARBOX, 5 speed, again original to vehicle, working perfectly,no nasty noises, no leaks, smooth gear changes up and down the box , hi/low and diff locks work as they should. just had oil service. AXLES, All original and correct for vehicle, diff oils changed and new seals fitted. WHEELS, Original to vehicle steel wheels with good tires all round ( wheels have been repainted ) BODYWORK, Again all original inc doors x5, wings (fenders) ,rear tub, roof, bonnet (hood) foot wells all in good original condition, not been covered in checker plate to cover imperfections or dents. INTERIOR, Original spec for vehicle, all seats good no rips or damage, head lining good,carpets all sound, all buttons and controls work as they should. 12 seater ELECTRICS, All wiring is totally original, all items have been checked and in working condition, just fitted brand new battery, all good to go. PAINT WORK, Again original and not been repainted, original decals. As with any paintwork on a landy of this age it shows some imperfections (marks) inkeeping with type of vehicle and usage ,please see photos, i would say this is not perfect but a very long way from being rough. BRAKES, All been serviced and new parts fitted were needed ( pads discs) work as they should. POWER STEERING,No leaks or noises works as it should. SUSPENSION, Original spec springs, we have just fitted new shocks to this as the original ones were a bit weak, all bushes have been inspected and any needed have been replaced with new. SUMMERY, This defender is as original as it is possible to get. It is in good usable condition and is ready for work or play. This is a joy to drive with no wondering about on the road. a very respectable vehicle for the age and type.This is not the usual pile of poo pulled out of a hedge some were and given a quick repaint to make it look fresh. This Defender has been used and loved by it's owners and it shows. We are more than happy to deliver this on our own transport to Southampton docks at no extra cost. Please note shipping is extra, All paperwork will be posted directly to your home or business address by us, registered air mail so you will have these in plenty of time before ship arrives at chosen destination. We will refund the cost of this vehicle if in the event it is not allowed in to the US, ( this has never happened to us dew to the fact we will only ship original vehicles that conform to all currant regs required ).
