Up for bid is a very clean 1979 Alfa Romeo Spider ConvertibleThis is a very clean drivers quality fun convertible. Runs and drives good but does need some extra work to be great as it currently will not pass Colorado emissions because of the fuel injection system. If you are familiar with the Spica system this won't sound weird....It does need tuned, tweeked or ??? to pass.As seen from the pics it is a very clean ride and was very well taken care of by the previous owners. I am the 3rd owner. It is an original Colorado car purchased in Boulder, CO, the car comes with the original window sticker (COOL) and a stack of service records and a car cover. Details:Body: I would consider it an 8 out of 10. Custom paint job some time ago that has held up very well as it was garaged all its life. It has a few "bubbles" in the typical Alfa places; above fenders & at the rockers. They are hard to see at 10 feet. I tried to show in pictures. Spare tire area is good with a few small holes but nothing major. I cleaned it up and applied bed liner to protect it. Glass is all good - windshield was replaced in 2013. All window / window cranks work as expected Electrical - headlights, blinkers, brake lights, parking lights all work. Heater and radio do not (I did not try to get either one working) Newer battery Convertible top - good shape, was replaced a while ago with no major flaws as seen. Goes up and down smoothly. Tires - Michelin X-1's 195/65/14 - all in good shape with lots of tread left. Original spare tire, jack and tool kit (not complete) in trunk Interior - Original seats are a little rough especially at the head rest. There are tears at the seams in several places but still very comfortable. The covers are in good shape and come with the car. Carpet is good to ok but very workable. Center console is a little loose as most are at this age. All the gauges seem to work just fine. Overall this little Alfa is a gem of a convertible. Very good driver and with a little maintenance / service it will be around for a long time. Car located in Denver, CO. Local pick up available or I will assist a transportation company load it.
