Vehicle Detail

Selling my 1967 Fastback, this was my first car and I've owned it since 1987. Restored with many new parts and painted in 1990 it has been garaged for the majority of the time since then. Interior: Interior is in overall very good condition. Seat covers and door panels in new condition, carpet looks good but has some fading under the floor mats. Pony floor mats which also look new. Original dash pad in good condition, with one small crack. Rear folding seat added from donor car, have all the parts except the seat latches and latch covers which can be purchased on line. Needs seat Belts. Dome light not working but I suspect it's a minor issue to get them to work. Recently purchased new Sun Visors but they need to be installed. Has working vintage correct am radio. Exterior: Chrome trim still looks good, style steel wheels look new. Goodyear eagle st tires from 1990 with low mileage. Needs letters and emblems for the fenders. Paint is 25 years old, looks better in the pictures than in person. It has some dullness, a few chips, a few bubbles, and one area of peeling. I've included pictures of some of the Worst areas. With a little work to remove the fading the paint would could look pretty good. As you can see from the pictures Acapulco Blue is a beautiful color. My favorite of all the colors for this year and this cars original color. Body is in good shape, some rust in the floorboards, sheet metal has been riveted over them. No large holes in the floor but some weak areas. Rear quarters and trunk are quite solid with only a couple of small holes between the gas tank and the passenger cabin. Overall doors, fenders, and quarter panels have minimal bubbling considering the age of the paint. Battery has caused rust in the battery box area, repair is needed(see pictures). Cowls need to be repaired/replaced. Car runs well, engine and transmission in good working order. 289 is from a 68 fairlane, i do not know the mileage or if/when it was rebuilt, but again it runs well. The brakes were recently done with new pads and replaced wheel cylinders as needed. New battery. Power steering works but needs new control valve. Currently I removed the Power steering pump belt and have not filled it up with fluid due to leaking. Overall this is a solid car. It is runs and drives well. With minimal work it could be a "daily driver". If you are looking for a fastback to restore this is a great one needing minimal sheet metal repairs to the body(floor boards, cowls, and battery area). Car would look great as originally optioned with the white stripes, exterior decor group, and rare gray rear paint treatment.
