I have 4 cars in my driveway- help! Daily Driver "Bugsy" is an AZ car, virutally rust free after 45 years old! German components bug (not Brazil or Mexico) . Original engine, larger size, full strength and good condition. German Solex 30 Pict 2 original carburetor, rebuilt (more desirable than others). New fuel pump, coil, new oil cooler seals, rear main seal. etcFour way disc brake conversion- stops on a dime at high speeds. New master cylinder and brake lines. New rotors. Black EMPI eight spoke alloy rims with red trim (back ones are slighty taller for cooler stance) black trim set all around, Brand new Eagle GT racing TIRES matching- FULL TREAD, wide and nice pattern, super expensive. New rear shocks. 4inch narrowed beam in front with adjusters- adjustable front height! new ball joints and tie rod ends, . Genuine Momo racing steering wheel with Momo steering hub mounted. New Empi projector lights with brackets. EMPI short throw shifter. Much work done at Doug's Bugs, and have the receipts- over $3000. worth. Super cool interior with original reddish cloth seats with stripes on them, with No tears or holes! that's some serious quality!Blinkers, Lights & wipers work, minor negatives o rthings i haven't got to: horn not hooked up on Momo wheel. ; wiring seems messy behind dash, but easy to organize & clean up, boot on rear cv joint could use replaced (have a kit one around it now), the joints and axles are nice- no troubles. step panels are loose- haven't gotten to that but i don't step on them anyway. Paint has some blemishes if you look hard enough, but could be buffed out real nice, and it's solid with a solid body. lowered front edge bottom of body has dented up on some parking curbs (see pict), Original glass has stone chip an small couple inch crack from it in upper corner- not visible much, not spreading. I can get it fixed by my comprehensive insurance (but some people want original). Many people comment on how this is the nicest bug they've seen, and people who don't usually like bugs much say they love this one. Clean title. NOT a salvaged title.
