This is a 2007 Toyota Camry Solara Convertible SLE with V6 engine.This is a great car to drive and cruise around during good weather. Simply latch/unlatch the 2 latches at the top of the windshield and press the button, and it automatic opens/closes both the top and windows.The Leather electric heated seats are great on cold days. The Leather is in excellent shape, no stains, holes or tears.The sound system has radio, cd changer that plays standard cds and mp3s on cds, and auxiliary sound input for connecting your iPod or any other player.Bluetooth will connect to your phone for phone calls by steering wheel buttons and car speakers/microphone. Great for hands free callsOriginal Owner: I am the original owner, and have low miles (less than 65,000 miles.)Original Owner's Manual: I have all the original owners manual, materials and cover/holder.New Top: The Top was replaced in July 2015 and has a 5 year warranty on materials and labor (from the shop that installed in Charlotte, NC.) The original rear window shattered requiring the replacement top.Boot Cover: I have stored the boot cover unused in my house the entire time I've owned the car, so it is practically new.Condition: The car is in good condition and has been well maintained. The Leather is in excellent shape, no stains, holes or tears. It has some minor chips in paint as you would expect in a car this age. There is a small chip in the trunk. There is a black mark on the right front bumper where the paint has been scrapped off. There is a small crack in the windshield in the upper right corner (not in direct line of sight.) Sometimes the CD changer won't load or unload cds. I never used it much.Local Viewing: If you are local to Charlotte NC, and want to come see the car before bidding, let me know! No Reserve: I have been offered $9,000 by CarMax and the local Toyota dealer (yes they both offered the same amount!) in it's current condition, so I have set the opening bid at this level with no reserve. Payment: I can accept only certified funds: Money Order, Cashiers Check, or CashPickup Only by Sept 5th at Noon: I am a private owner, and cannot deliver the car. If you win the auction, you will need to pick up the car before Sept 5th at 12 Noon. NC requires title and bill of sale to be notarized which we can do at the bank. If you are unable to pickup the car before Sept 5th, I will sell it to CarMax. More details for questions I've received.1) The leather is in good shape. The driver's side has some wrinkles, but no cracks or tears (that I can see.) Look at album for close ups.2) I don't know how the black mark happened. None of the drivers in my family were in an accident. I guess someone hit it while parked. Look at album for close ups.3) The crack in the upper right corner of the window likely happened when a nut fell off a tree and hit the corner in my yard (about 6 years ago.) Inspectors have never failed the car because of it, it's been there at least 6 years, and is 3-4 inches long. See the picture in the album (best pic I could get, hard to capture)4) The top was replaced after the rear window detached and shattered. My guess is old glue that couldn't handle 9 years of leather.5) Maintenance has been pretty standard oil, air filters and tires, nothing major aside from the top replacement.6) Payment deadline is strict! I am leaving the country. You have 3 days after the auction to pay and collect car, or I sell it to carmax on Sept 5th.7) The top is new! It was replaced in July 2015. I originally wrote July 2007.
