Unique opportunity for an Jaguar E-Type Convertible. This car is a very good driver. This is not a matching numbers, untouched XKE. Work has been done on car and all parts are not from original car. Some history on the car... This was my fathers car. He bought it about 30 years ago and fully restored it. Car was driven daily in the warmer months and stayed in a heated garage all winter. He passed away 2 years ago and car has been sitting since then. I do not have the knowledge or skill set required to own a car like this. I did start the car and drive it. It runs and drives well. The car is in good overall condition, everything works. There are some minor cracks and bubbles (pictured) in the paint. The interior is in good condition. Bumpers do have some scratches on them. Soft Top has no rips or tears. The engine is a 6 cylinder, 4.2 Liter. I have had a few car guys look at this car. The car has had work done to body and does have body filler in it. There are also parts on the car that are from other year XKEs. The car was transferred into my name shortly before my father passed and I do have the Massachusetts title for it (VIN number on title = 262679E106440). However, I cannot find a VIN tag on the car. I did find an engine number (7F3848-9). I realize this is a low price for an XKE in this condition. However, the price reflects the non-originality of the car. If you are looking to for an XKE to drive, this is a great car. Please do not "Buy it Now" unless you are 100% certain you have no questions and are ready to buy this car. I would rather speak with you and have all your questions answered and feel comfortable before making a final sale. I am not a Jaguar expert by any means, but would be happy to try to answer any/all questions you may have. The car is being sold in "as is" condition with no warranties.
