I bought this car Oct 2012 primarily for work. I am the 4rd owner. As I was told, the first two were related (father/daughter i believe) who owned it for the first 16 years the next owner said he had it for 6 months. He said he bought for his wife but she decided she wanted a 4wd SUV. Indeed there was a late model Mercedes M class in their drive. He had a VW TDi. So he sold it to me.
