1965 Mustang Fastback ‘C’ code 5F09C269576, originally 289 V8 and 4-speed manual. Vin number exists on three front fender aprons. This is a great project car that is ready to finish. It comes with a nice 302 V8 roller motor with an Edelbrock aluminum intake, roller camshaft/lifters, the bigger high performance 351W heads with roller rocker arms, stock exhaust manifolds. The Holley 4 barrel carb sitting on it needs rebuilt or put your own on. It comes with a set of manual pedals, 4-speed Toploader manual transmission in good working condition, flywheel and bellhousing. Rust repair was completed with new metal welded and seam sealed. Parts replaced were Dynacorn roof skin, drip rails, hood (new in box), fenders (sitting on car with bolts not tightened), front battery apron, cowl section, floor pans, rear wheel wells inner/outer, quarters, trunk floor/drops, full length rear frame rails and rear torque boxes, deck lid and taillight panel. Doors are in good shape and include vent windows and passenger door glass, missing driver side door glass and windshield. Back glass is included along with nice chrome rear bumper. No windshield. Has a nice 8 inch rear end with rebuilt center section and rebuilt manual drum brakes. Brakes on front are good as well. Newer front suspension parts include springs, upper/lower control arms and ball joints. Nice tires and wheels go with the car, wheels could use some tlc (polish and some black paint touchup). Interior has correct Mustang front buckets with the Pony Sport-R Deluxe foam and upholstery, they are not perfect but usable, I would recommend reupholstering. Interior also includes good set of black door panels, black dashpad, complete rear fold down seat, trap door, rear interior panels, headliner bows, 65 style Instrument bezel/gauge cluster, all wiring that is labeled as to where everything goes and hooks up for underdash, rear taillights and front engine bay and lights. Missing the four small pieces of fastback wrap around metal trim. Other parts included are heater box, controls and cables, windshield wiper motor & arms, light switch, master cylinder, glove box door, window molding, trunk rods, grill center, driveshaft, etc.. I would say car is 90% complete as far as parts go. This is a solid car that has the hard work done. This is a project car that does not run or stop at this time. Clear Missouri title in my name.
