Selling my best friends 2003 Hyundai Sonata. The car needs a computer… Brief history of what happened. He visited wife and I in Florida. Driving back home, his car broke down in Chattanooga Tennessee. Had it towed to repair shop, Eo2 sensor bad & timing belt needs replaced. The shop replaced sensor and he drove to Michigan. My friend buys a timing belt and kit and has a couple of our buddies replace the timing belt. Three days later they can't get car to start. Wife and I pay to have car towed to a Certified Mechanic. Timing was set wrong, messed up head. Wife and I bought him a reconditioned head and head gasket kit. One month later no car..Mechanic cant get it started. Wife and I have car towed to OUR mechanic for an estimate. He puts on diagnostic analyzer…states Crank sensor or possible computer malfunction. Crank sensor replacement $300…We have him replace sensor. Does not fix problem, car wont start. DEFINITELY COMPUTER… his cost $1100. Used $50-100 dollars. Our mechanic will only install new. We had car towed home…buddy gave me title said it yours.. Newer tires, good interior, New Crank sensor, refurbished head, head gasket kit.. Back bumper molding cracked, PW/PL, Cold AC..
