The car has a bad over-heating problem, overheats in just a few minutes. Idles rough. The engine has compression problems which might be the reason. Have been told that some Dodge Neon's have been known to have engine/cylinder head problems. This car might be better to use for parts because after a few minutes the engine gets very hot and the car has to be turned off. Sometimes the engine light comes on and the same code comes up a mis-fire in cylinder 1 Has some rusting along bottom edge of car inside and some outside of rear driver side door and on the other side where the car had a dent. Also some rust in the wheel wells. Several years ago on some areas I put a rust killer then painted over but more rust has appeared. Several years ago someone hit the back bumper which resulted in just a scratch I poorly tried to spray paint over. (picture in ad) The car slid on a icy road and tapped a guardrail so there is a dent/rusting on the right side that I sprayed over with paint - see pics And there is a long thin dent across the right side of the car. All 4 wheels have some dents and staining. Air conditioning does not work. Air does blow out of it but its not cold. The rear passenger side door when opened is tough to close. There are a few small holes on the lid of the center compartment between the seats see pic Inside the car has been well kept non smoking environment. Seats and tires in good shape. Just had the cooling system flushed but did not help overheat problem. Also oil changed. A few months ago the front brakes failed and I had them fixed. This car could be good for parts or for someone who wants a project to work on. Car must be moved by a tow or truck pick up due to overheat problem,overheats in a couple of minutes. Car sold as is. Buyer is responsible for the truck pickup and delivery of the car.
