Up for auction is my 1998 Honda VLX 600 with just 8200 miles on it. This bike is in excellent condition and looks new. It runs and rides like all bikes should. It has been adult ridden, always garaged, never dropped or abused. The bike always gets compliments. The color is black/turquoise which is a rare color and very sharp looking. It comes with tailored Tourmaster zip off saddle bags. The front tire is a brand new OEM Pirelli and I only changed it for safety reasons due to sidewall checking. The back tire has quite a bit of tread left. A service that a lot of folks forget is to change the coolant. It has been changed using factory coolant and will be good for many years to come. In addition to the above it has a fresh tuneup, new front pads (not really needed), and a fairly new trickle maintained battery. The OEM headlight has been replaced with a very very bright halogen. I will change the oil and filter to whatever brand the new owner likes even though this oil only has less than 2000 miles on it. I prefer Castrol 20W-50 4T. There are no leaks. The original factory plasti-coating is still on the forks and everywhere else it was applied. There is a small rock chip on the exhaust pipe. You have to be looking for it to see it. See pics for a look. All in all this is a fantastic motorcycle that will cruise at 70 mph and yet still agile enough to drive in town. It is ready to go from coast to coast with nothing needed. I am 5'11" and the forward controls are really great and very comfortable. If desired, I can deliver the bike up to 500 miles from Sarasota, FL for 24 cents per mile both ways.
