Vehicle Detail

2007 CTS-V LS2 6.0 T56 - No Reserve!! I am selling my 2007 CTS-V. The car has about 108k miles and runs great but I was hit in the passenger rear corner. Car has a clear Florida title. When this happened I was away from home for work and didn’t really trust the body shop so after they did the inspection for my insurance company I had the car towed back home so I could have it repaired by a local shop I have used in the past and trust. The front bumper also has some damage from the previous owner having lowering spring on the car and hitting curb stops (I have replaced with factory V springs). Since the car needs the front bumper painted and there are a few other spots that need attention I was going to either have the entire car painted or sell it as is. Then the car developed a significant power steering leak somehow during the towing process and I don’t have time to fix. Therefore it’s up for sale for someone with bodyshop skills or for someone who wants the engine and transmission for a swap. The only aftermarket parts are a Corsa cat-back exhaust and a K&N cold air intake. For someone wanting to do a swap I have included a list of sellable parts and conservative ebay values for each below. Details on the accident damage: I had the car towed the Geico authorized body shop after the accident and was quoted approximately $4,300 to have the rear corner and suspension repaired (message me through ebay for a copy of the estimate). The techs reviewed the car and determined only the quarter panel skin needed to be replaced instead of the entire quarter clip along. I have replaced all the suspension components for the right rear of the car ($600 of estimate). Also the shop quoted a new rear bumper which seems to be fixable ($678 of estimate). There is no frame damage to the car. I have also purchased a clean quarter section for use in the replacement which I will include with the sale($478 of estimate). Remaining cost straight from the bodyshop for the quarter would be about $2500. Engine Swap : The motor/transmission combo is the LS2 6.0 400HP 395 ft/lb and the Tremec T56 with about 108k miles on the combo. No issues with the motor or transmission. The whole car would be great to use for a swap as all the components are in place and running. No guessing like with a crate pullout setup. Along with the combo the remaining parts are in good demand as GM didn’t make many of these cars. I would part out myself but I don’t have the time. Search ebay for closed/sold auctions to verify my prices; there is at least $5k worth of parts after using the engine for a swap. See below: LS2/T56 Combo $ 6,000 Rearend $ 700 Corsa Exhaust $ 400 CV's $ 150 Headlights (x2) (Xenon/Ballasts/Washers) $ 600 Black Leather (Seats/Door Panels) $ 750 Dash/Pass Airbag $ 450 Column/Steering Wheel $ 150 Drivers Airbag $ 50 Center Brake Light $ 150 Wheels/Tires $ 450 Sunroof Assembly $ 150 Brakes (4 piston calipers/Drilled Rotors) $ 500 Drivershaft with good CV $ 200 Springs/Struts $ 300 V-grille $ 275 Taillights $ 100 Factory Navigation Head Unit Bose Components $ 250 K&N Cold Air Intake $ 100 Body parts ?? Front and Rear subframes ?? Misc Parts ?? $ 11,725 The car is available for viewing in Orlando and is also up for sale locally. Message me for any questions through ebay.
