This is a very solid driving K5 that runs perfect amf 4wd works great. I am the 2nd private owner of this truck. I bought it a few years ago from a dealer when I was living in Seattle. He got it from the original owner. It is a cool looking truck that gets looks and thumbs up when I drive it. The odometer doesnt appear to have rolled over so I think the mileage is accurate. Title is clean and clear. The truck spent its entire life on the west coast (until February of this year) where they dont rust and corrode as much as the do on the east coast. I brought the truck with me when I moved to New Jersey last winter. Shortly after it got here the motor sucked a valve. I had a new motor professionally installed. New: - Brand new GM Goodwrench 350 installed by the engine exchange in April 2015. This is a new long block with all brand new components from Chevrolet. Receipts included. Motor has 1,000 miles on it. - 700-R4 transmission - rebuild with upgraded internals and a mild shift kit in October 2013. Transmission has 4,000 miles on it. - new monroe shocks in 2013- new hedman headers and dual exhaust in 2013- new edelbrock 1406 4 barrel carburetor in April 2015- new stereo and speakers in 2014 - Blaupunkt deck with cd player, ipod aux and bluetooth capability. Polk rear speakers and kicker front speakers.- new carpet and dash pad in June 2015 Needs: - I was told the rear brakes are getting a bit low last time I had the tires rotated. I bought new rear shoes, front rotors, front pads and rear wheel cylinders but have not installed them yet. Will include with the truck. Truck still stops fine, but I like all the mechanicals to be sorted. - The paint looks good from 10 feet but it has some flaws that are noticeable up close. Scratches and small dents here and there that are typical for a 30 year old vehicle. - Rocker panels each have a rust spot on the seam. You can see them in the photos. Otherwise body is rust free. Quarters are good, areas around windows are clear and the frame/undercarriage are very solid. - The top is in great shape but has a couple of spots where the paint has chipped. - A/C needs to be rec harged Please email all questions before bidding.
