You are bidding on a 1998 Mustang GT with 94,286 miles. The car is currently not running, see engine details below. Installed on the car are: BBK X-Pipe, Plasma Ignition, BBK Clutch Quadrant, Cervini 3.5” Cowl Hood and Stalker Front Bumper, Global West Rear Lower Control Arms, Global West Del-A-Lum Front Control Arm Bushings, QA-1 Struts, Ford Racing Coil Springs, Maximum Motorsports K Member, and BBK Strut Tower Brace. The motor is an aluminum block 4.6 from a 2001 model year Crown Vic or Explorer. It has never been installed in a car and only run on a test stand for somewhere around 30 minutes. It has a BBK Cold Air Intake, Accufab 75mm Throttle Body & Plenum , and Steeda Pulley’s. The heads are from Ford Racing. They are made for 1998 and earlier 4.6 motors and are an upgrade from the later PI heads with the valves relocated to unshroud them for better flow. You can get the details from a Ford Racing catalog. Comp Cams CCA-102100 cams are installed. After the heads were installed, while the front cover was still off, the engine turned over fine. We exchanged the front cover that came on the engine with the original one from the 1998 motor because they had different accessory drives. Once everything was together again the engine wouldn’t turn over. I figure it’s got to be something inside the front cover so you either need to figure out what it is and mill it off or put the original front cover back on and relocate the accessories. I can’t work on the car anymore because I lost one of my legs and the prosthetic makes it extremely difficult to bend over the car to work on it or to get on the ground underneath it. Not installed on the car but included with it are fuel injectors and a MAF from a 1998 Cobra. If you’re familiar with Sean Hyland Motorsports, this is one of his recommended upgrades. Also included is a set of long tube Hooker Super Comp Headers. I have a clear title and car is a registered non-op so there will be no back DMV fees.
