Vehicle Detail
1966 Mustang Coupe Overseas bidders welcome Here we have an entry level 66 Mustang. This would be a great car to get introduced to the classic car world or just have a neat weekend driver. Below is a description to the best of my ability. The Body - -The body has a very small amount of rust around the wheel well lip. There are some bubbles around the car, but these photos are the worst of it. -The floors are solid with exception of 3 small areas the size of a quarter or half dollar which could be patch or just left alone and sprayed with POR15 rust inhibitor. - All frame work is solid. -Rear quarter has a patch panel -Paint is a little faded but may buff out - Chrome is all drivers quality. Or buy new bumpers. They are the cheapest bumpers on the planet to replace. $89-109 dollars all over the internet. The interior- - Drivers seat is ripped - Carpet is faded and ripped. Cheap to replace - Headliner is perfect -Door Panels are near perfect -Dash pad and gauges near perfect. -Seat belts good Drive train - - The 6 cylinder is freshly rebuilt. Less then 50 miles - Trans and rear good. - Small leak but not bad. -New front brakes -Tires are ok but will need to be replaced in the next 5-10k miles The Mustang starts easily, runs, drives and stops straight. The carberator still needs to be adjusted. It wants to stall out unless the manual choke is pulled out a little but still drives. I would sort out the carb before a long distance drive. It might be the fancy K & N air filter, but think more along the lines that the carb just needs tweaked on. Legalities –- The listing may end at any time. Why?
