A very rare Chevy S10 electric pickup. One of only 60 to survive GM's electric vehicle destruction policy of the early 2000's. Most of these trucks were recalled and scrapped after their fleet lease was up. This pickup is a factory model, powered by an EV1 powertrain. Unfortunately, there is a broken gear tooth in the transmission that must be fixed before the truck can be driven. Other then that, the truck would have operated when it was parked 7 years ago. The motor controller and motor were both operational. Unfortunately, the troubles don't stop there. GM's wildly sucessful inductive charging system was also beginning to cause problems. As a result, this truck comes with at least two Magnechargers to improve the chances of charging this truck. Finally, the batteries are junk. Bid now to own this piece of electric car history!
