1986 Honda Interceptor

I have too many bikes and not enough time. It's time to let a few go to new homes where they can be enjoyed and ridden. This bike and its twin you'll also see listed by me were going to be projects. I learned to ride on an 86 Interceptor 500 and wanted to get one to restore. After purchasing the other interceptor (see my other listing), I was buying parts that I needed to restore it and I found this one that was in a little better shape and had some parts I needed. I was planning on combining the best parts of each. This bike was being ridden by a lady in New Mexico when I bought it in March 2010, but it has not been run since then. I never got plates for it or put insurance on it since I was going to work on it. Anyway, it will need a battery, new gas and probably the carbs cleaned to make it run. It has normal nicks for a 29 years old bike, but I took pictures of the biggest scratches. I'm selling it as is with a reserve of $500. I don't see myself having any time to work on this in the next few years, so if someone else can use it, I'll let it go. If I sell both interceptors, I'll start putting some of my parts up for sale next week. I have brand new (in 2010) set of tires, mufflers, scratch free forks (turn signal bolts often made contact with top of fork slider when signal bracket got bent in a little) and the last factory new upper in the US (dealer told me that it was the last one in Honda inventory when I bought it).
